Old timers knows exactly who's the owner of this store. Ka Manuel as he is fondly called, owns Mountaineer's Store at the foot of Maculot. He has a sari-sari store, a videoke machine, parking space, and of course comfort rooms and bathrooms for hikers who need to do their "business" or wash up after a dayhike or overnight camp. This is I think the first one stop shop for mountaineers in the area. He is a good friend of my group UE Mountaineers.
