When my family and I visited Malacanang Palace we happened to stop at this restaurant. We basically had the first floor to ourselves and was instantly greeted by King.
Service was immensely attentive, fast, and overall wonderful. King informed us of the dishes we could try, where the ingredients from each dish was from, and offered us his personal favorite dessert. None of the food disappointed the family! My favorite dish was the kare-kare, tortang talong, and ube halaya for the dessert. King informed us that the ube halaya was from a local source that truly brought the meaning “from farm to table”

The service was incredible - we did more exploring in Malacanang and when it started to rain, we headed back to Cabel to wait out the rain. Richard went above and beyond, called a Grab for us and made sure we were comfortable as we waited.

If you ever visit Malacanang Palace, please don’t hesitate to visit this delightful restaurant!

This place was an unexpected surprise during our visit to the Malacanang Palace. The food was classic Filipino comfort food but elevated to a Michelin Star level. Owner Juan Carlos Moreno is the epitome of class and service. Be sure to add this to any visit and order my favorite Biko Latik.

They serve the best tinola and chicken adobo I've tasted! They also serve extremely delicious desserts like ube halaya and biko latik. Service is great. Place reminds me of the grand Old Manila mansions. Place is great for Filipino-themed events.

The ambience is very nice. It is clean, elegant and very relaxing. The service is top. The food is great. Enjoyed the tinola very much. I highly recommend the ube-the best I ever had. It freshly made daily, smooth and buttery, topped with macapuno (coconut sport). The location is perfect, across from the Palace on a corner. Galing!

Had late lunch at Cabel with my family and friends, and had tinola, dinuguan, sisig, and sinuglaw. Of these dishes, tinola and dinuguan stood out. Had tinola and dinuguan in many local restos in the Philippines, and Cabel's version to me is the best. Pricing may be upscale but the flavor makes up for it big time. I just wish they serve more of that fish patè in their starter so I won't have to ask for my companion's share haha! If not, they should include it in the menu so we can have more of it.

Cabel is ideal for family and friends seeking comfortable and relaxed dining experience. Dining here is like hanging out in an ancestral home where you're served with your favorite home cooked meals. The ambience of this place exudes classic Filipino elegance, reminiscent of the haciendas in the countryside. Plus, it is situated right next to Malacañang Palace!

Amazing authentic Filipino cuisine like nothing around the metro. I highly suggest the piyanggang chicken. Excellent service.
