Makati Shangri-La

The hospitality, service, rooms AND location are incredible. The staff all provide such impeccable hospitality, from the welcoming door staff, security, to the lifeguards at the pool. I can’t stress enough how important and standout that is for me and my personal experience during my stays.

My only critique is the time it takes to check in and out at the front desk and concierge- it does take a long time, especially when there’s a line. Overall, my experience was amazing and I would definitely come back. The gesture with the hand on the chest is a nice touch! And the hospitality room cleaning crew are all very friendly indeed! And speaking of our room, it was my favorite with the extra large king bed, layout and view!

Absolutely! I had an incredible experience at the hotel. The hospitality services were truly top-notch. When I faced a challenging situation with my left channel hand carry bag. the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and recovery. Their kindness and professionalism stood out. They turned what could have been a difficult stay into a very positive experience. I can't thank them enough for their help and support. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, not just for its beautiful rooms and amenities, but for its outstanding service. 👍🏼

Had a great afternoon tea, there was even live music, it was the Valentines special.

A bit of a downer that we had to wait nearly 40 minutes for the afternoon tea to arrive, expected to have it a lot faster like we had in other hotels.

I also loved the great view in our hotel room. The hotel’s amenities were fantastic, i couldn’t get over with the pool and also they have a fitness center, which i totally loved. The location is very wise, it is close the popular shops and also a lot of dining around. My total experience at this hotel was absolutely delightful. I would definitely choose to stay here again with my family. I highly recommend it to someone looking for a stay.

The hotel was a very short walk from the shopping centre and a short drive to the airport.

We were unable to get a late checkout but the staff looked after our bags so we could head out before our flight home.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a night in Shangri-La, and the entire experience was magical. The only thing that compares to the hotel's magnificence is how friendly its staff is. I was immediately taken away from the bustle by the calm atmosphere that welcomed me as soon as I entered the foyer. Every interaction with the personnel revealed their meticulous attention to detail, and the check-in procedure was flawless.

Had heard a lot of rave reviews about the breakfast buffet and it was one of the most comprehensive I have seen. Some items like the omelette were exceptional, others like the sushi/dim sum I think could be improved
I would come back either here or to try the BGC location one

I recommend this place. Room is great, luxurial and it's justified for the price. Customer Service will exceed your expectations. And the location is also great. You will absolutely enjoy your vacation and won't get disappointed.

The hotel might look a bit old and dated, but dont let that stop you from experiencing the quality service and hospitability they have to offer. Moreover, the rooms and amenities are beautiful and everything inside is well kept and nice.

I stayed at the Makati Shangrila-La for two nights and I was very impressed by the location, amenities and services. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a swimming pool, a spa and a restaurant. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional, and they made me feel welcome and valued. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied, and the restaurant served local and international dishes. The hotel also arranged a tour for me to see some of the historical and cultural sites of Manila. I had a wonderful time at the Makati Shangrila-La and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the city.

We've been spending our Christmas Eves at Makati Shang since my sister and I were little. I've finished my grad school studies and she's now a doctor but the experience remains as magical now as it was then. From the extremely courteous staff (Chefs Maran and Dom, and Mira) to the excellent food, I see myself carrying over the tradition when I have my own family.
