The signature barbecue dishes are always excellent and delicious. The restaurant’s ambiance is nostalgic, comfy and clean with several function rooms for events. The staff members from the waiters to the security guards were very polite, friendly and are always smiling which gives the place a more welcoming environment even for local citizens. This is why we love it here, a True Filipino Legacy!

What a delicious find in Manila.

Traditional food, at great prices with attentive service in a comfortable environment.

We were advised to try here by both of our drivers to and from the Fort of Santiago on our short stay.

We ordered the pork ribs (whole), abodo chicken, and the famous lumpiang. For four of us this was ample servings with delicious flavours of the Philippines.

We ordered rice with ours and ordered two but note the pork comes with its own rice.

I recommend all of these meals plus I believe, from looking around, you would struggle to find something that you won’t like.

Must try and thank you to the team for the wonderful service and delicious food.

Aristocrat Malate: Late-Night Eats After Miss Universe Philippines 2024(with a Side of Service Improvement)

My post-Miss Universe Philippines 2024 hunger pangs led me to the familiar comfort of Aristocrat Restaurant in Malate. After a five-hour pageant extravaganza, a delicious late-night meal was much needed.

Classic Comfort Never Disappoints:

Thankfully, Aristocrat delivered! Their pansit Canton was absolute heaven – a symphony of savory noodles and perfectly cooked vegetables. It's a dish that never disappoints. The Lumpiang Shanghai was another winner, boasting a delightful crispness that satisfied every bite. And let's not forget the chicken in honey – a sweet and savory indulgence that hit the spot perfectly.

Room for Improvement:

The only area for improvement was the service. Perhaps due to the late hour (graveyard shift!), the staff seemed a bit on the sleepy side. A touch more attentiveness would have elevated the dining experience.

Overall:

Despite the slightly inattentive service, Aristocrat Malate provided the perfect late-night pick-me-up after a long evening. The classic Filipino dishes were cooked to perfection, offering familiar comfort after the excitement of MUPH 2024. With a bit more pep from the staff, this Aristocrat branch could be an even better late-night dining destination.

We had a nice late night dinner here with friends. The barbecue chicken is excellent, and the lumpia shanghai is also good. I had a pineapple shake that was good, and had a lot of pulp. If you like that. The hot chocolate is very dark chocolatey and on the less sweet side. The wait staff got our order correct, but never came around to fill water glasses or check on us unless we waved them over. This restaurant and others with the same name have been around a long time and do good business well into the night as they're open 24/7. The atmosphere is like an upscale cafeteria or overnight breakfast place.

The iconic restaurant is still as good as it has always been. Food on point full of nostalgia and flavors. Can't go wrong with their food.

Local institution in Manila! Established in 1936, this restaurant opens 24 hours daily. When we entered, it reminded us of old school, traditional dimsum restaurants in Hong Kong, in the sense of familiarity, family and comfort food.

We ordered their signature bbq chicken and pork, about PHP300 each. Both were very tender and juicy, and didn’t even need the extra sauce they came with. For dessert, we had their signature Halo Halo (PHP180) and had fun digging through the layers.

One interesting thing I tried was the Gulaman At Sago (PHP98). At first, I was thinking of ordering their house blend iced tea, but the staff pointed this out with hesitation. It’s very sweet, with sago and agar. I liked it but the level of sweetness might not be for everyone.

It was a fun and enjoyable place to eat our lunch. 24/7 place and so busy. If you have enough food, you could have pastry from their bakery. We had a party of 10 and two sets of family lunch including beef, vegetable and fish soups, many main dishes of pork, chicken, fish and a shrimp noodle with vegetables. Plus four bottles of Pepsi and two big bowls of rice. Lots of take out for dinner tonight!

Got off a 15 hour flight from YYZ to MNL at 4 in the morning and punched in the first stop to Aristocrat. 3 piece chicken BBQ, lumpia and FRESH mango milkshake. Did not disappoint. Milkshake hit me in the taste buds and reminded me this is the real deal fresh mango straight outta Manila. Great service and cost!

The Aristocrat along Roxas Boulevard is an institution in Manila's culinary landscape. Known for its rich history and sumptuous Filipino cuisine, this restaurant offers a dining experience like no other. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a welcoming ambiance that evokes a sense of nostalgia, as though stepping back in time.

The food is the star of the show, serving dishes that bring you on a flavorful journey across the archipelago. Their signature Chicken Barbecue is a must-try, perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. And don't even get me started on their Kare-Kare; it's simply divine.

Service is top-notch. Staff are attentive without being intrusive, making sure your dining experience is seamless from start to finish. Plus, their location overlooking Manila Bay offers a mesmerizing view, particularly during sunset.

Whether you're a local looking for an authentic Filipino meal or a tourist eager to explore Manila's culinary heritage, The Aristocrat will not disappoint. It's more than just a meal; it's an experience that celebrates the very essence of Filipino culture. Highly recommended!

First time trying Aristocrat and the chicken barbecue was just AMAZING. We ordered the chicken barbecue, the boneless one too, lumping ubod, and sinigang na bangus belly.

My personal favorite was the sinigang. The soup, the freshness of the fish, the overwhelming amount of veggies. Everything was so good.

10/10 would recommend! 👌🏽

We celebrated a small reunion among classmates of long ago.. Enjoyed the famous chicken and pork barbeque, java rice, atsara, and much, much more. We literally had a feast of Filipino dishes.
The staff was very nice to give in to our request like move the electric fan's direction away from our faces, to get extra sauces and so on.
The rest rooms were so clean.

Made a decision to have a brunch here today and was not disappointed.. Staff were welcoming and nice.. After our order was taken we were given an estimate of how long it will be served (20-30 mins). Their hot and thick chocolate was heavenly🙌. Portions were big too and tasted so good with everything we ordered.

Totally enjoyed and had a grand time here at Aristocrat!!

Bought a box of cream pop for desserts too at their bakeshop. 👍

Neat old place on waterfront albeit with 8 lanes between place and the beach. You can catch sunset and sunrises here as it’s 24 hrs. Reminds me of old USA diners from the 80’s.
A lot of service staff, yet a bit scattered and food portions range from just right to too much.
Happy I got to visit this throwback diner.
