Bohol Boutique Hotel

Amazing hotel in the middle of Bohol in Bilar near the Man Made forest. Extremely accommodating staff. Very friendly. We will be back.

What a great place, highly recommended!!

We found this beautiful boutique hotel close to the viewing point of the chocolate hills.
You feel the passion of the owners in this hidden gem. It’s an unique place and very nicely decorated .
It has an indoor pool , but there is no roof above the pool, what makes it special.
There are sitting areas all over the place.
This small hotel has a bar, good restaurants and 13 guest rooms.
You can enjoy your food , next to the pool, near the bar/ restaurant or on the balcony facing the street and the nature .
The food was delicious.
We met the owners Glory and John and they are such a nice , friendly hosts.
I highly recommended this very unique place !!

A treasure to find! The people there were amazing and so was the food! I have special diet needs and they took very good care of my needs. I have never felt better! The owners are very friendly and helpful! They took me under their wing and showed me sights that tourists usually don’t see. The staff are also so helpful! I was completely spoiled! I highly recommend staying here. It was my home away from home.

Stayed for 1 night. Very spacious room. Hotel international based rooms. Accessible pool inside the hotel. You can relqx and have some beer at the lobby area. Also have a bar inside the hotel.You may also order Meals like pizza, fries, burger. etc..

Service (staff): Homely. Accommodating.

Pool: Cold. Didn't itch after I got out (unlike the ones in the city). Loved it.

Room: Hot shower is a plus. Mini-fridge. Smart TV, but the net isn't very fast. For the Bed, slept like a log.

Food: Chopsuey tasted good (had it for dinner). The coffee was good (breakfast).

Add: Reading material in the lounge (actual books, not just magazines). Varied topics too, had fun reading 'The Selfish Gene' by Dawkins.

You'll be surprised that there's actually a cozy place like this to stay in, with nice restaurant and bar and indoor swimming pool in this countryside of Bohol!

The owner was very accommodating. Rooms were big and elegant. Breakfast was also satisfying

This hotel is in a great location in Bohol, only 15mins from the Chocolate Mountains Viewpoint. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Sadly, we tended to agree with the more negative reviews about the hotel itself. The rooms are outdated and rundown. The shower was bad - only options cold or hot. The toilet flusher didn’t work, so we had to manual flush filling up the bin. The room itself was spacious and the bed comfy. But it was outdated for sure. We’d recommend finding somewhere else. We ate at a lovely restaurant up the road called Forest Garden and they had lovely rooms available.

Overall it was still a pleasant stay just for 1 night stop over in Bohol. We stayed here as it was close enough to chocolate hills only a 20min bike ride away. And close enough to the hanging bridge and kayaking on Loboc River.

The room was basic, shower was weak and the toilet did not flush. So sadly our basic hygiene needs were not met had to use the bin filled up with water to manually flush. The bed was comfy and had a nice view of the sunset from the room. The curtains don’t cover the whole window so make sure to bring your sleeping mask.

The area downstairs is okay, the pool is very cool when not in the sun so I would wait to get in until the sun comes over the pool.

We did get breakfast which is a choice of eggs or pancakes for one options and then a more filling breakfast with meat and rice for the other option.

We also managed to rent a bike from them which was great for dashing about to our activities.
