Laguindingan Airport

It's not crowded. The facilities are clean and neat. The staff were always cheerful and happy to be of help. There were shuttle services and taxis outside ranging from affordable to a more expensive ones. They are also more than willing to help the tourists.

Departure area at 2nd floor.
Spacious waiting place. Clean. You can find coffee shops, restaurant, pasalubong merchandise, prayer room for muslim, breast feeding room, charging station, first aid clinic and toilet. There's a playground room for kids yet it's closed.

The arrival area on the ground floor. You can only find the pick up for check in luggage then headed exit way. Hence you cannot access the above (those food, etc) at the airport arrivals, because they are separate.

A little small but has efficient operations

The airport is clean and cute for an airport. It's also very serene as it's located near the sea, very scenic actually. However, there were not enough chairs though but I understand since people are just transient and people won't be required to stay for long hours. I love that there are now more stalls and food choices unlike before.

Hassle-free experience from check-in to boarding.

Needs more authority when it comes to boarding with discipline. Fairness and equality are practiced and would depend on your boarding pass. Of course, there is also common courtesy for disabled.

Friendly staff, offers a good view of the runway near the parking lot

It is a nice airport. It is a clean airport. You can view the ocean there. Parking space is good. Parking there for 15 minutes is free but beyond that there is already a fee.

My departure in this airport is so very nice all process is are good and the staff is also nice here,, if you want to buy some delicious delicacy Of CDO they also have here in this airport... THUMBS UP Laguidingan Airport staff 👍

Amenities are clean in the Laguindingan Airport when I flew alone from Pasay NAIA 2 Airport at 4:15 AM (Departure Time) all the way to Misamis Oriental by 5:30 AM (Arrival Time).

Nearby there is Kenny Rogers in the 2nd Floor, including vendors of souvenir items.

Outside are shuttle vans travelling to Opol, Alubijid, and finally to Cagayan de Oro via Limketkai Mall.

The only disappointing plan is that Shuttle Vans don't have direct route to Manolo Fortich in Bukidnon for some adventure like Dahilayan adventure park.

The duration of travel from Manila to Misamis Oriental is 1 1/2 hour.

Overnight parking at 168 pesos is available, but finding a space is challenging due to high demand. The airport is clean, but additional seating is needed at boarding gates due to overcrowding.

After being in the Amsterdam and JFK airports ,it was a blessing to come to this airport. It was well organized and the staff smiled and tried hard to be available and help passengers. Shorter lines and it was not as busy and confusing. I would go back again anytime.

Laguindingan Airport is the first international airport in Northern Mindanao that serves the cities of Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, and Marawi.

nice place but airlines need to be revamp, new players and compititive price?!?

Really had a good experience on my Manila trip. It's a small regional airport. But check in and bag drop were fine and efficient. Standard security and arrival was okay. The trip went well with a twenty minutes early arrival. It can be the other way around as everything hinges on traffic and delays in Manila and Cebu in this country

The airport is Mindanao's second-busiest airport after Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City. It It is classified as a Principal Domestic Airport Class 1 by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), a body of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) responsible for implementing policies on civil aviation to assure safe, economic and efficient air travel, and the handling of operations at airports (except major international ones).[2]
