Hertz Car Rental Philippines - BGC

This is a real Hertz rental location and they only give you a Hertz contract, unlike at the Airport.
Everyone was extremely friendly, no complaints.
The price was pretty good, even compared to the scam offers where they want to give it to you for cheap and then charge you a ton when you return in, whilst pretending to be Hertz or Avis.
I paid around 750€ for two weeks and got a Toyota Vios with 30800 Kilometers and Automatic (good for Americans).
That was their cheapest car.
I was overall happy with the condition, it had a few scratches, but nothing major and everything important was ok.

Mr. Carlos is an outstanding representative for Hertz rental car organization (BGC Location). His customer service etiquette is outstanding. His demeanor is relaxed and focused when dealing with the administration side of things.

He is efficient to ensure all vehicles are properly inspected upon return. He gives all the necessary information to clients before departing the station with their rented vehicle.

It's sometimes difficult to find dedicated employees to fulfill an employers operating standards. Having Mr. Carlos as an employee is a great asset to the company.

The Manager there is excellent and explained everything in detail. Tolls are automatic and you pay at the end. I'd go 5* but I didn't really like the supplied vehicle with 74km on the clock which was a bit beaten-up; thank goodness it was a Toyota. Driving in/around Manila (I clocked 840km in a weekend trip) is not for an inexperienced driver. Foreigners must exercise extreme patience between the swarming scooters and inevitable traffic delays. Once outside NCR the main roads SLEX and NLEX are more straightforward, but the volume of traffic is still high. This is a genuine Hertz DO NOT go to the imposters, because you will regret it. Take the optional insurance cover, don't skimp on that.

The staff is helpful and friendly. I can recommend this car rental from Hertz/Thrifty.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the location of the office. We went during a heavy rainstorm and slipped while walking on the ramp down to the basement, as there wasn't any other way to get there.

FYI: Some of the photos posted in the other reviews are from the Makati branch, which caused us a bit of confusion.

Worst rental company ever!
Just watch out they can take ur money and they wont refund u back and as an excuse our refund process takes time!

Worst experience ever and I lost 1000 derham because of them.

Also they do not have pick up in Philippines because of public holidays which i never saw it anywhere in the world!

Took 1 hour to get car.

Won't return deposit on return.
