The island is good and have a good fine beach. The room is good with island vibe.
The food is expensive, suggested to bring food to be cooked in the island.

Going there requires to ride in a boat.

Boat Ride fee is 200
Islang fee is 400 for overnight
Room accommodation for 2 is 900. 100 pesos for additional head.

PEACEFUL. I did not regret visiting such a gem place. The tranquility of the beach is perfect for relaxation. They have long beachline and crystal clear water.
I have enjoyed it so much. the price is reasonable 200 for the day tour and 400 for overnight. They also have a public area where we can eat with no charge. I would definitely come back again.

A lovely place to go. This is our second trip and always not disappointed. The crystal clear water is very refreshing. We went on a weekday this time and such a good place to relax as it wasn't busy. The rooms are old but clean which is more important to us. The facilities are basic but is all you need. There are choices for the transportation. You can either ride the water craft run by the resort or the public which is half the price. The public port is about 10 minutes walk from the resort. You can order food in the resort or go the small market nearby and buy some for grilling. I recommend to spend overnight so you can make the best of it. We especially enjoy our second day when it was low tide as you can see corals and fish!

I have never been more than happy all these years throughout my beach getaways. Everything is a 10 in this beach resort. Beach is crystal clear 💯, there are marine life even on shallow waters! Staffs are accommodating, friendly, and approachable. Additionally, they clean the island on a strict basis from dead leaves, garbages, EVERYTHING! It's just one of the best beach resort to get away from stresses and enjoy life. If you want to go camping, or just want to enjoy a good, white and beautiful sand beach with crystal waters, then Isla Reta is for you!

This place is recommended for a day trip beach-goers! You can ride the resort Banca from Davao City in Santa Ana Wharf Jetty and it will take about 45min to arrive at this beautiful resort with white sandy beach and crystal clear water. Many activities can be done here. They also provide a complete facilities for our convenience and served foods too. Definitely a place you must visit.

Isla Reta resort is a great vacation location near davao city. Perfect for those wanting white beach sand and forested greenery. Sumptous food you can choose and friendly staff to cater our needs. Plenty of simple amenities... come n visit the place.

The beach experience is excellent and the accommodation is decent.

Possible issue: (1) the price has since increased (although still relatively cheap for a resort)
(2) access is limited with scheduled ferries (smart traveling is key)

I love the place, the clear water and the very fine white sand . .very relaxing ambience. On my next visit I want to stay overnight . .I love the food and affordable. Please improved the salinity of the water in the shower area. .but over all still highly recommended

One of my personal favorite beaches in the nearby island from Davao City. I like it because it has a long shoreline (compared to other beaches) and there are a lot of trees around. We went there last week and here's what we've got.
Entrance fee is 200 for day tour and 400 for an overnight stay. Concrete cottages (good for 2) is 900 and their long house (good for 3) is 800. Tent rental is 400 per night.
We surely had a great experience there, as usual. Their staffs are hospitable and easy to deal with. They are quick to help you out if you have concerns or questions.
The only concern we actually had was reaching to them through their social media and cellphone number. But I guess, they are just catering to a lot of customers.
I will still go back there.

Since 2011, we have been patrons of this resort. Back then they were not yet developed but the beach itself is so beautiful. You can really experience the beauty of nature. You will be relaxed and calmed here. This place is an absolute divine for me and my family. Thank you Isla Reta! ❤

A perfect place if you are looking for peace, tranquility and one with nature.

A lil bit pricey but you'll experience and see why. This is an example of excellent paradise.

Budgetarian Tips:
-Take the Sta. Ana via Talicud route thru Pacific Ferry it is much cheaper than Isla Reta's Boat.
-Bring your own food and water if you can, coz' cheapest meal will cost you 150 pesos.

My favorite place to go in Talicud. Beautiful, nature, great place for snorkeling, to unwind, and enjoy soft white sand. Great food, we had chicken bbq, chopsuey, and pancit. Entrance fee is 400 per person which will help to keep the place clean and to protect the sanctuary.

The experience here is worthy. The staff work is good, all of them are accommodating. The shore it has sure is lovely because of its white sand shoreline unlike other beach resorts in Samal or Talikud which have a rocky shoreline. The food is really delicious and they have a wide variety for it!

Isla reta can be reached through land or sea transports which makes it much more better for a destination. The sea breeze is cold if you stay on their pavilions. The resort unfortunately has no aircon, but this is what makes the entrance fee and the stay fee really cheap.

People can cook their own food as the place provides cooking areas. The place is also very protected so you won't feel any disturbances or threats when you stay in Isla Reta.

All in all, it's a place one could easily fell in love.

We rode a Taxi from Davao City to Sta. Ana Pier and transfer to a boat with 200 pesos boat fare that will take you directly to the island.

We arrived at 12 noon yet we have to wait for our 3 pm room accomodation since they are fully booked during Summer. They have options for accomodation (concrete, long house, tent and open cottages) with diff. yet affordable rates. We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. The accomodation is clean and spacious. We stayed at the concrete of which it has ceiling fan on the 1st day and the longhouse on the 2nd day. The Longhouse has no ceilling fan so its a bit hot but will change temperature at dawn.

The food here was so great but a bit pricy. It was only then on the 3rd day that we learn that we can get out from the resort, roam on the island and have a much cheaper meal. The water was so clear, the sand was fine, the air is fresh and the canopy of the trees provide great comfort from the heat of the sun.

But all in all, the experience was great and it was a good place to relax and take your vacation.

Simple but stunning white soft sand beach resort... Marine sanctuary was beautiful for snorkelling with crystal clear water. Food was delicious, very reasonably priced and often the serves were plenty for both of us. Our p900/night stone cottage was comfortable and clean. Need to bring your own towels and toiletries or buy in the canteen. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful beach! White & smooth sand with clear water. Great place for kids as the current is always calm. Rooms are cheap, but renting a tent is a much better experience. Night swimming is allowed. No corkage except for lechon, I think. Water in the bathrooms is saltwater, though. And getting there is a hassle.

Beautiful Place . Fine white sand, complete amenities. If you need something from food to a place to stay they got it covered for you. A bit pricey but it's reasonable considering its on an island. Epic sunrise view! The only downside I can think of is the lack of fresh water for bathing, you literally rinse yourself with salt water from the tap/faucet.

Be sure to have reservation, specially on hectic seasons 'coz they pack a lot of visitors. Also check the ferry's schedule it's not 24 hours.

Excellent day trip. Under An hour from Davao by boat. Reasonably priced. Awesome waters are completely still and warm. And clean water too. Snorkeling right there you can see a plethora of sea life. Scuba diving will show you lion fish, small rays, sea snakes, and a plethora of gorgeous marine life. White beach, not too crowded even for a weekend. A weekday would be awesome. They water was amazing. Huts are inexpensive to rent . Truly a find and would be happy to visit it again. Wonderful days spent. Food was reasonably priced and tasty as well.
