Villa Del Mar Ivory Beach Resort

Needed a quick R&R from all of the pandemic and holiday rush. Checked out Villa Del Mar and they offered their services as they were just done with certification to accept guests! Kind enough to let me have 3 towels and 3 blankets (super cold). Even gave me a free breakfast for deciding to stay another day. Great service over all!

The perfect spot to chill in sunny Saud beach. The white cottage is both quaint and charming. Complete your holiday by opening a chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc while admiring the dramatic sunset.

We had the beach to our selves. Strict Border check points in Ilocos sur and Norte

Its Old but Cozy what is Nice is its just on Front of the Beach on the Sandy Part the Best Spot on the Area

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! RUDE MANAGEMENT! UGLY ROOMS! NEVER AGAIN!

We arrived at the resort at about 1pm, they told us there was no electricity as they were fiixing the power lines. They said it will be back at 6pm. We took that into consideration. We didnt use the room until we had electricity at around 7pm. They then wanted to charge us for an extra 100 pesos entrance fee per head thats why we asked if we could just have a refund but the owner refused to give us a refund. The rooms are even worse! Bathroom door was broken, no water, broken pail, main door knob was easy to be opened. When we wanted to cook our food they said we can use a little part of the kitchen, so we cooked there but in the middle of cooking when it was already getting dark and there was still no electricity they told us to cook in a small hut a little bit far from the dining area which was all the way in front near the beach, as the owner said that we shouldnt cook there and its for restaurant use only. Management charges for everything, doesnt want to give refund, no care for guests, doesnt even maintain their rooms. For the past few years we have been coming back to this resort but now it has changed a lot, we are never coming back to this resort ever.

EXPECTATION V.S REALITY.
Worst beach resort ever! The sea is perfect but the hotel is WORST. I can't count anymore how many times we experienced a brownout coz they said that their electricity lines were broken. We paid the hotel ahead of time (FULLY PAID) but when we came our reserved rooms was not yet ready not yet clean. The toilet flash was broken, no door, no curtains, no hanger and gosh our room has no LOCK. SAFE HUH???? We can't even charged our gadgetS bcoz the sockets were broken. The customer service was very poor. THAT WAS WORST TO WORST SITUATIONS. DON'T STAY HERE. .

Poor of the poorest!...worst service!...im currently statng at their cabana in front of the beach..got two cabanas and aircon at the other cabana is not working..unfortunately they downgraded my room and is not willing to give us the refund for the extra payment i made dor the cabana ..asked for ice water earlier again no ice available and take note they adviced me to buy my own ice...

Being charged 500 php for a raggedy beach hut with holes and uncomfortable seating and another 300 php for corkcage... really? what a joke...

Very poor service... we have fully paid our 3 rooms 3 days ahead pero pagdating ng check in di pa din ready ang mga rooms kulang kulang sira sira pa. Nagtuturuan ang mga empleyado...nde nila alam ang gagawin. sira ang window no locks. Sira ang banyo no door... wala man lang kurtina ang window sa bathroom na napakababa kitang kita ang tao sa loob kung maliligo. They only featuring their new rooms to attract guest. Then pagdating ng gabi... pumutok daw ang fuse box... 6hrs kaming walang kuryente... as in Yung Del Mar Lang... pero hindi man lang sila nagbigay ng assistance sa mga naka check-in sa kanila, kahit mag offer man lang ng kandila... wala... hindi maasahan ang nasa front desk.
