Abbey Cafe

A very serene environment, perfect place to meditate/review/work or just enjoy the beautiful view with a cup of hot cafe latté or their famous monk’s blend. They have plenty of pastries and breads as well. Staff are pleasant as well! You can buy whole or ground coffee beans/coffee drip at the gift shop next door. Reasonable price for quality beans. Must try!!!

The Abbey Cafe is located a few steps near the Church of the Transfiguration in Malaybalay, Bukidnon. It is where religious items as well as pasalubong food, snacks, and other products of the monks, and from other parts the province are sold.

The souvenir shop is adjacent to a coffee shop where freshly baked breads and pastries are served. They also have specialty coffee using local beans. There's a nice, cozy dining area with a nice view of the monastery's surroundings. Very quiet and relaxing place.

I bought their cinnamon roll which we really enjoyed at home. Apart from that, my companions and I had a great time shopping for pasalubongs, especially the specialties made by the monks themselves.

This cafe is a must-visit when you go the the Church, whether as a Catholic faithful or as a tourist.

The ambiance is nice and relaxing. Its nice to do some recreational activities such as retreats, just to be with God. Feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit. The air is fresh.
