Puerto Galera Mangrove Conservation

This place will remind you not to be a**hole to nature. The place is well-preserved and can be visited with only an entrance fee of P30 (less than a dollar). Along the way, there are posters in which you can learn about facts related to mangroves and the place's history. From here, there is also a spot wherein you can have a spectacular view of the open sea. This is a place to visit when in Puerto Galera.

The scenic view of the mangroves and the beach while walking on kawayan bridge is the most enjoyable part of this eco-tour. There are informative posters within the bridge way explaining the kinds of animal and mangrove species that you can find within the area.

However, some parts of the bamboo bridge already need fixing. So be careful while walking.

Went here on the way back from Tamawar Falls and it was worth the stop and the 30php each (especially as apparently some of the money goes back to supporting the conservation area). A suspended bamboo walkway takes you through the mangroves with information dotted around.

It's a beautiful place, cery calm and peaceful. Lots of greenery and water to see. Good for afternoon walk and strall. You can sit there and enjoy the nature fullest while listening the waves of ocean. Totally wonderful place.

You get to walk between the mangroves in the area. Posters are posted along the walkway for information about the mangroves and its ecosystem.

Just do this for the conservation. Some people we passed by seems disappointed but think about it. You are helping the government save this place and move it far from the hands of private owners who wants nothing but to destroy this interesting place. BTW, this place is a good spot to turn on your GoPro and start recording.

Great place for a visit when you are in Puerto Galera. Beautiful place to see mangroves, and learn about the environment.
The entrance fee was 50 pesos which is too low in my opinion. All of it will go to the preservation of the site.

Very Nice Place

This is one of my best experience's on the tour, very happy to see some one do care for our planet and try to save it for our kids.

Really loved seeing the clean mangroves. Saw many animals and birds :)
