Has always believed in PGH. My father was declared clinically dead in 2007 when we came to pgh from a private hospital also in Manila. Then the pgh doctor told us that my father's got only 20 percent chance to live but said that they do everything to bring him to health. True enough, he regained consciousness and was able to live for another 5 years. My mother also had a very successful kidney operation in pgh. PGH is the best.

They gave me free anti-tetanus shots, and the doctors are efficient and attentive to their patients. The emergency facility is clean and air conditioned.

The place is helping a lot of sick people to be well. It gives free services to the poorest of the poor.

To give better services, it is currently undergoing renovations.

Going around the premises outside the hospital, it is generally clean and tidy. The many plants and trees make it very healthy in spite of the pollution along Taft Avenue.

I can say this is the best hospital in the Philippines. When you are sick your main priority is the quality of the treatments and the knowledge of the doctors and the medical facilities and a fully equipped hospital rather than the comfort in a room.
In my experience even if you are the richest person, if you plan to get your treatments in the Philippines there is no other hospital to match the medical facilities and the attention from the medical staff that could come near the Philippine General Hospital.
In my case I had to go to 8 different hospitals including well known and famous private hospitals who rejected to treat my wife due to lack of facilities before we finally went to the Philippine General Hospital. Staff are angels very kind and caring very informative and they really know what they are doing unlike most of the other hospitals in the Philippines. I salute all the staff including the admin staff of the hospital. I cannot thank enough for saving my child 🙏🏼
My very special thanks to Dr. Mahinay and the other doctors who treated my wife. 🙏🏼 Thank you again. 🙏🏼 God bless you all 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

One of the best in the country in terms of the competency of the doctors. The ER is literally for the public. I once got admitted in the psychiatry ward here for two weeks years ago for FREE -- free board and lodging and almost free of all the medicines. It was a catalyst in my journey most especially Ms Julia from the women's desk, she is tough, firm but empathetic. She is the one who first mentioned to me to consider looking at domestic violence and battered woman syndrome. Little things like that is empowering.

Great service. Building though can be old and worn out, i hope the government will further improve this hospital to cater the common people especially the poor.

You need to wear face mask if you go to PGH, The doctors are friendly, but you must be patience if you approach to guard you must have appoinment in your blue card to show to guard in the entrance . If you dont have an appoinment they will not allow you to enter in the clinic..

Hello,
My name is Charisse Russell and I’m in search of a certain Doctor. I’m not really sure how to go about finding him, but I figured maybe if I post a review about him, I might be able to track him down bc he is the only person I know that would know what happened to my birth mom. I was put up for adoption at the age of 2 1/2 and know nothing about my past. Sadly my adoptive mom passed away in Jan so I never got the real truth about my adoption. The doctor I’m looking for is Dr. Villapondo. And all I know is that my birth moms first name is Lucila. I pray someone can help me. Thank you in advance.

Wait time was too long but since their services and doctor consultation is free it is to be expected. Staff support and personnel is not that cordial but then they are over worked so am trying to understand

First time to rush at PGH last Wednesday November 21, 2018 7pm when one of the staff (Ms. Fuentabella) at the emergency (OBAS) told me that they can't accommodate me because of lots of PATIENT and ask me. To transfer at Jose Reyes, it was really a disappointment for me because my situation is urgent and we are worried with my baby in my womb. Today November 23,2018 I came back again to PGH, the concern was being raise to the doctor on duty at OBAS they tried to found out who is the staff who told me that they can't accommodate me. Thanks to Dra. Trish Fernandez, Dra. Pam Valera and all the team from service B it was a great experience excellent service from me as a patient.. I just hope the others will do the same... Two thumb ups.... To PGH management you have the best doctors and team with your company...
