Service was pretty good. The food was tasty as well. Portions are indicative of Philippines but me being American, a little smaller than what I expected. Value was fine.

Atmosphere was great in the restaurant. Looks really nice inside. I got the tuna melt and that was good. So many things looked good! I ordered a little too much food!

Bathrooms were clean as well! I'd definitely come back!

I consider myself very familiar with Binondo area after all I grew up in this neighborhood. 1919 Grand Cafe was a pleasant surprise though! At the back of my mind, I’m aware of the place but the interior and the food were truly awesome!

Our server was very attentive to our needs. He’d ask if we’d like our food served in portions already. He’d be quick to refill water without being asked. Servings were generous and delicious. Our favorites were the sisig and the bangus.

It's an amazing gem of a cafe in Binondo! Deffo a must go when havin a food trip or just visitin the place. The atmosphere itself gives out a very rustic feel with a modern touch. Service is very good, everyone in the staff was very polite and accommodating on our questions. Food is a bit pricy, but I do recommend trying the taro cake and the muscovado coffee! Will deffo come back to enjoy and relax in this beautiful cafe!

We were visiting various historical sites around Manila when we stopped in at 1919 Grand Cafe for an early lunch. The restaurant wasn't too busy at around 11 AM on a Monday, so we were seated pretty quickly at one of the tables upstairs. We enjoyed the comfy bench seating and appreciated the modern ambiance of the place. We split the truffle pasta, salt and pepper squid, and baked rice caldereta between 4 of us and were more than satisfied. Everything was so delicious!!! We weren't able to try any of the desserts or drinks, but next time I would love to try their taro cloud roll and Japanese cake.

I love what they have done to the place - absolutely stunning! Food was also reasonable - a bit on the pricier side but definitely the volume and quality/taste made it well worth it.

The Taro Roll was to die for! It was a very generous slice with a thick piece of taro inside topped with a small slice of sweet mango. I paired it with a muscovado latte which I had too high of an expectation for after seeing the photo in the menu. It was good but I thought the muscovado on top was brulee, it wasn’t - still a very good cup of semi-sweet coffee with a Filipino twist. The menu had a few Japanese stuff in an otherwise normal western cafe menu with Filipino ingredients.

Great place to have a meal or even just for coffee and desserts. The place is also very big, so plenty of seating available. I would definitely recommend foreign tourists also visit this place for a upscale twist to some Filipino ingredients and dining experience.

Two complaints I had were that contrary to the interior design, the menu booklets look dilapidated. Food abd drinks were brought out promptly but it took forever to get the bill. Other than that, definitely 5 stars!

Came here as the reviews looked good. Absolutely did not disappoint, food was amazing, good prices, plenty of options even wagu steak!! Staff were amazing, so hopefully and lovely. Space is amazing too, very smart and relaxed. Would recommend.

They have great food selection at a friendly price. The atmosphere of this place is great. They have seating on the first and second floor, although the second floor seemed small due to lower ceiling. All in all we had a good experience here. Please note that they only have street parking, so if you come during peak hours, it can be challenging to find a parking spot. But there are private parking nearby.

Yep overall experience is five star. I love that classic vibe ambiance. The food is great, i love the truffle pasta. Single serving is actually good for 2. It's a must try.

If you want a break from all the Chinese food and delicacies, this is the perfect place to eat. I enjoyed the ambience of this old building with elegant interiors. The staff provided topnotch service from the moment you enter the building until you leave. There is a comfortable seating area near the reception where guests can wait before they are led to their tables. The staff will sing happy birthday, take photos, wrap leftovers in microwaveable containers… first class service all the way! I had muscovado latte and taro cloud roll and it was the perfect pairing for an afternoon snack. I also ordered chicken sandwich. The deboned chicken fillet (not shredded, no skin) was flavorful. It came with thick toasted wheat bread and served with fries on the side. One order can feed two persons. Overall, this place is truly a gem in Binondo.

Had a pleasant dining experience at 1919 Grand Café. The place is great, it's clean, cozy, lovely ambiance, the staff were very friendly, and accommodating. The food that we ordered were all delicious! The staff were kind to offer their bestseller and we're glad to order them as well. We had the taro cloud which was surprisingly very good, and also the very sumptuous crystal prawn dumplings! Be sure to try their breakfast as well, their beef tapa and corned beef are both perfection!

Stylish classy cafe. The place is good for couples, friends and family. The cafe has two floors to accommodate their customers. Food is just fine and quite reasonable for the price. The place is accessible for commuters but it’s kinda hard to find a parking space if you have a car.

This is one of the best restaurants in Manila. It’s an historical place and also an unbelievable restaurant. Everything is organised in details and the location is really amazing.

Came here for the coffee and dessert, although i must admit - i wish we weren’t full enough to have been able to try their mains since they smelled and looked good from across the table.

The muscovado coffee was good 👍 and the cloud cake was unique and filling. It wasn’t too sweet but big enough to share with 2 maybe even 3 people.

Love the history behind the building and the ornate interiors on the ground floor.

Late post: My brother had his 65th dinner celebration here. My favorite was the calamari - crunchy and tasted very fresh. The tender and juicy baby back ribs was delicious and melts in your mouth kind of dish. Coffee was excellent!! The servers were very attentive.

One of the BEST restaurants/cafes in Manila! They have amazing food, coffee, ambiance and service. They have the friendliest staff and the building is rich in history. A must-visit!

Staff were very friendly as well. We bought a slice of cake for our friend since her birthday is upcoming. We asked if we can buy a small candle for the cake. The staff gave it to us for free and also gave a Happy Birthday topper. We were also surprised that when the cake arrived, they had a Birthday serenade with all of the staff. It was a very great experience dining here.
