Lantawan Grassland

Nice place to unwind in when you are in Zamboanga City. Highly recommend coming there for sunset. Wait for the city lights to light up though, as the view is also beautiful.

They have plenty of food options. Knickerbocker is as always delicious.

We are so glad that we decided to go here last year. The road going to this fantastic view of Zamboanga is very very bumpy, and the quickest way going up is by renting motorcycles. The view once you reach the top is breathtaking. There are also some stores and restaurants around for refreshments and snacks.

Grassland is located not so far from the slope mountain of Zamboanga City. The road is rough in the entrance going up but the road after that is already in good shape. The view on the top is breathtaking you can see the whole city. The perfect time to go there is during sunset as you can see the beauty of the city from above during daylight and after a few moments is the beautiful city lights and cold breeze.

From KCC Mall Zamboanga will takes about 20~25minutes, and it will costs you about Php 20 peso/person/entry, while parking car costs about php 20 peso/entry.

There is a minimal entrance fee, 10php to 20php per head only. Also there are a lot of food inside the place. I recommend the Knickerbocker.

This spot is a great tourist spot for an overview of Zamboanga City, best time to go is night time if you want to see the city lights or day time if you want that view at that time.

Just do be careful when you plan to visit just after the rain as it may be slippery.

Unbelievable sights, indescribable feelings

The place was so relaxing. I highly recommend that you visit the place in the morning because there are less people during that time. Safe place to visit with the family.

I'm giving it a 5 for its scenic view overlooking Zamboanga City. Best to arrive here at past 3PM when the sun is low. Road leading to Grassland is narrow and some portions of the road are unpaved (still passable to sedan cars).

Beautiful views

This place is very nice for unwinding from the busy pueblo area. There are a lot of stalls to buy food and enjoy the city view.
