a beacon of wonder in this picturesque island paradise. I had the pleasure of visiting this iconic landmark during my recent trip, and it left me truly mesmerized.

First and foremost, the location is awe-inspiring. Perched atop a lush hill, the lighthouse offers panoramic views of the vast Pacific Ocean and the rugged cliffs of Batanes. The surrounding landscape is a photographer’s dream come true, with rolling hills and vibrant greenery.

The lighthouse itself is a charming piece of architecture. Its classic white facade and the soothing hum of its guiding light create a sense of tranquility that’s hard to put into words. I spent hours simply gazing at it, trying to capture its timeless beauty with my camera.

One of the highlights of my visit was the chance to climb to the top of the lighthouse. The view from there was simply breathtaking. The wind tousled my hair as I took in the 360-degree panorama, and I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of appreciation for the natural beauty of Batanes.

The Basco Lighthouse is also a great spot to learn about the history and culture of Batanes. There’s a small museum on the premises that showcases the island’s maritime heritage and the role of lighthouses in guiding sailors to safety.

Great view at the top. Best visited during weekdays and late afternoon for less crowd.

You can literally see the whole town and a good view up the lighthouse. Just be sure to count those 50+ steps going up. It is really windy with a cool breeze. This is included in the North Batan Tour and surely one of the highlights

Got the chance to visit the Basco Lighthouse early in the morning before our flight returning to Manila to hunt for stars. It was fun indeed and the sceneries surrounding the lighthouse is astonishing.

The coned shape lighthouse which stands 66 feet has amazed me so much plus the breath taking greeneries surrounding the place. Very relaxing view to unwind. Will surely come back here

Very picturesque! Miles and miles of rolling hills and you can feel the force of the wind as it kisses your face. In close proximity is the famous Basco lighthouse.

Basco Lighthouse is located at the Naidi hills in Batan Island. This is one of my favorite lighthouses because it was one of the places where I learned how to capture the Milky Way (a Eureka moment in 2019). It sits on a lush green lawn with a view of the ocean. There is some light pollution but you can see a bit of the Milky Way up there even on a cloudy night.

This "flavor" of Batanes view is a good place to meditate and reflect! These pictures, sadly, won't give justice to what we experienced.

Basco Lighthouse was the highlight of our family trip! The view was absolutely breathtaking and made the whole Batanes tour worthwhile. Will definitely come back again to this place

The island is blessed with spectacular natural views all around from which the various lighthouses on the island.This lighthouse is one of several from which one can be amazed by the beauty mother nature has endowed the island province with. Suggest to come here during sunrise or sunset. Try to reach for the top of the lighthouse and enjoy the 360 degree of scenery of sea view, Batanes town view & green view . This place is just perfect for shooting. Many photographers shooting for debut and wedding.

the iconic lighthouse , is a good climb if ur up to it..or perhaps a mountain bike for a Korean feel as you stroll along the hillside and sit wait for the sunset

Basco Lighthouse is the perfect place to unwind. You can see the classic stonehouses and see the spectacular view of the hills and the sea.

This lighthouse of Basco in Batan Island is situated on top of Naidi Hill. The topmost part accessible to tourists and locals are good for viewing the whole community of Basco, Mt. Iraya, and the vastness of the sea which makes it perfect for sunset viewing. There’s no fee but make sure to book a tourist guide in advance since Batanes is implementing a stricter tourism policy upon entering Basco.

One of my bucket list to visit someday.. I knew it would be a breath taking view to feed my eyes and also prefecture for selfies and other activities... Batanes ❤❤❤
