Small airport for a small Island.
There's no other way to reach the Breathtaking Batanes apart from plane.
(There's no ship going to the said Island.)

Small airport enough for a small island. Awesome view of Mt. Iraya as backdrop. Structure inspired by their very own stone houses. With pasalubong stores inside ;) Open for all in the afternoon around 5pm, great for jogging.

Small airport and within Basco proper, like literally few meters away from the main Capitol. For check in luggage, they dont have conveyor belt so you have to queue and wait until they have unloaded all the bags and you have to get your own bag, make sure to match your luggage tags with that bag tag for inspection upon exit.

A small, simple airport in Basco. A lot of travel agencies can be seen around here. There are also a lot of locals offering different services like transient housing, travel tour packages, etc.

The airport is very clean. It is small airport but I love the classic yet beautiful architectural designs. Less employees and facilities but I love the simplicity, it's more fun in the Basco, Batanes, Philippines
