What a beautiful cafe— we stumbled on this bakery and are so glad we did. Lots of indoor seating and a beautiful little courtyard as well. We initially went in for the sweet pastries, but once we were inside we ordered a grilled cheese as well. WOW! It was the standout! Although the cruffin was also delicious, the grilled cheese (made on their homemade sourdough) was absolutely amazing! Served with an incredible homemade tomato sauce and FILLED with gooey cheese! We may be heading back for dinner—don’t miss this spot!

Delicious breads and pastries, excellent chicken anticucho sandwich. The passion fruit kefir is very refreshing.

You can walk around the back and see the dough and breads being freshly made.

The waitress was very kind with the kids and let them have colouring books and colour pencils to keep them busy.

Very enjoyable stop on our way to Santa Catalina, highly recommend this beautiful bakery and cafe.

Fantastic lineup of teas, coffees, breads, and 'sponge-tastic" cakes, and pastries in general! Deina, the charm queen herself, dazzled us with her kindness and wizard-like efficiency, even spilling the beans on the magical bread and pastry crafting rituals. Every bite screams homemade genius, naked right there in their own oven —utterly scrumptious. Plus, they’ve got this cozy, chill-out patio perfect for soaking up some good vibes and fresh air. A smashing hit on the recommend-o-meter!

Very tasty and delicious pastries! The quality is top and the prices are 👌! It was actually better than some we find back home in Belgium, bravo!

Would give 4,5 stars because they forgot to pack the second lemon cake.
Other than that the pastries tasted all very great, in total the service was good and the display of the food was very appealing.

What a wonderful find! This is my second trip to Arequipa, Peru and all I could think about was this bakery. Now he has opened a cafe that serves the best sandwiches from his beautiful bread. The owner Martin met us and explained his love of bread and why this region has butter that makes it all taste so special. Thank you!

The BEST cafe and bakery in Arequipa, no, Peru. All bakery projects were simply sensational. I enjoyed a deliciously warm, soft and flaky almond croissant paired with a hot, rich and bitter cappuccino- proper grounded bean coffee. The setting was lovely also. You can sit in the shaded courtyard listening to the street activity, or inside the lovely stone walled cafe. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, taking time to explain how the food is prepared and make recommendations. I wish I could go to Masamamas every day and try their Danish, Pain au Chocolat and quite frankly all of their menu. Thank you for your services to baked goods.

What a great experience. Everything in the menu is amazing. They have almost everything home made, since the flour to the mascarpone, the taste is indescribable, just go, we had the burger and the tuna sandwich both really tasty!!

Delicious bread and coffee. Smoked trout sandwich was spot on, muy rico! The sandwiches with cheese have too much of it in my opinion, makes them super heavy. But overall great experience, definitely worth recommendation!

Delicious!! This was a highlight of our vacation in Arequipa. We came here multiple times because it was so good. You can't go wrong but my favorites were the french toast and the almond croissant. All the ingredients are locally and ethically sourced which is awesome. We loved the brownies so much we got some on our last day to bring back to the US.

Incredibly delicious food and lots of vegetarian and vegan options! Great little bakery to grab some pastries or have a proper meal too. Would 100% recommend.

Such a great spot, with some of the best bread and pastry I have ever had! Service was great. On our short Arequipa trip, we came here a few times. Coffee selections were also very tasty. I highly recommend 👌

I have eaten here a couple of times this trip and often enjoy the bread from here served at my hotel. The sourdough starter used in the bread and other products give them a nice, sharp bite.

Great cafe in the center of Arequipa with fresh baked items and delicious sandwiches. Went here for a relaxing break and some good eats when traveling solo :)
