Plaza de Armas Andahuaylillas

San Pedro, the "Sistine Chapel" of Peru, No photography is allowed inside. The Plaza with 1000 year old Sabor trees were just amazing!

Great historic church located in the Plaza de armas, as well as an interesting museum.

It's a quiet place, where you can visit the churche or just have a time to relax. It's about an hour from cusco's main square and you can take the bus in front of the hospital at La Cultura avenue. The bus station is in the corner and you only pay 2.50 soles. Just say you're going to andahuaylillas.

The Andahuaylillas District is one of the twelve districts in the Quispicanchi Province in Peru. Created on January 2, 1857, its capital is the town of Andahuaylillas. It is located 45 km South of Cusco.

The main attraction of Andahuaylillas is its baroque church dedicated to Saint Peter the Apostle. The church is nicknamed "the Sistine Chapel of America" because of the magnificent frescos that adorn its walls.

Andahuaylillas is one of the main stages of the Andean Baroque Route along with Cusco, Huaro and Urcos.

Very traditional little town with a great histotic Church.

Nice little square with a fountain, around and in the square there are lot of street vedors
