Definitely a “Huarique” you must try in Lima. I had the classic ‘pan con chicharron’ and ‘pan con pavo’ both were delicious but I liked the Turkey sandwich better. Make sure to bring only cash to pay tho

To get the best taste of Peruvian food this spot is it. Delicious and flavorful w/ every bite. Be cautious of the area as it is not in the best of neighborhoods. However , you will not find a better restaurant in any other spot when it comes to pork and other traditional Peruvian foods

Delicious....if u don't mind the beggars or crowds of ...people just hanging about...there were also some working ladies around enjoy..and if u are a weirdo christian don't go....

The flavor of the chicharron is what i always remember from back in the day when my grandma made some breakfast for us kids at her house. I recommend going very early and stand in line and make sure you know what you want before they open so the flow keeps going. Hats off to the skilled workers that cut the meat so fast and prepare the orders to go in a blink of an eye, in the middle of summer. I surely will be back.

The sandwiches are so good— probably my favorite food. Can’t go wrong with El Chinito.

They have several locations, but the best sandwichs are in downtown.
Downtown location is in a not very safe point. Call a taxi if you go and need to leave. walk , only if you are familiar with the area

Great sandwiches with juicy meet. Friendly helpful staff and local atmosphere. Many construction workers here so you know it's good.
