Parque Zoológico Huachipa

This zoo is beautiful. As it is small you can see everything in a few hours and spend the rest of the day enjoying the views and eating in the restaurants, they have typical Peruvian meals. It is a pleasent expierience.

We had a great time here, although we missed the white tiger and lion...

This is a good place to visit while being in Lima. You can see the diversity of animals in the different regions: Coast, Highlands and Jungle. The names are also in English, so you will also understand. Plus, you have a very nice experience, some spaces to play. It demands walking but there is also a train that takes you everywhere. Children will love it.

Nice to take little kids is not to big but you get to see a lot of animals have a great time with family

To spend a real quality time, to have some fun and also for learn about the animals. Spaces are well conserved, animals looks in very well conditions and spaces according to his needs. This is recomendable to visit when there is no so much people, for example the Monday to thrusday. There is parking at the entrance, bring a hat and repelend for mosquitos. Don't feed the animals they have well balanced food according to his needs. Inside there is a couple of restaurants no so expensive and aceptable quality. Some. Souvenirs of good quality are availables around the park topically animal shaped toys and so on. Bring your snickers and spend the whole day.

I always like to visit local Zoo this place is not huge so you can visit in the morning and be done by lunch. There is restorant and gift shop inside. Also if you have little ones with you there is train ride and great places for taking photos with family.

It is a very nice zoo, well maintained animals, not too big and a nice varity. Very recommended.
