Casa Tambo Restaurant

We came to visit this place for the 7th time. Marco the waiter is AMAZING!My husband is intolerant to onions and Marco went above and beyond to make sure to help him. Food is great but Marco’s attention to detail is just impeccable. Gracias

Had a delicious time at Casa Tambo. I went twice during my trip. The first time the Conchas were really good. The second time it was a bit tart for me but otherwise still tasty.
The pizza is delicious, the carpaccio blew my mind as I had it for the first time there, and the octopus was grilled to perfection. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant as it's also quite pretty on the inside. Good drinks, good food

Had a wonderful time! The atmosphere is spectacular - like an old Lima historical house turned art gallery turned restaurant. Seating is outdoor or indoors in one of the different rooms. The fountain area, here I was seating, was next to an open kitchen. Service was fast.

I tried the lomo saltado, which was truly pleasant. The lomo was soft and tender. The shrimp and octopus causa was also delicious with an interesting presentation. The ceviche was my favorite, with a unique smokey flavor and delicious seafood. They also served breads and artisenal butter in the beginning.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Lima this visit, I'll definitely be back again!

Casa Tambo is in a beautiful restored colonial stylish mansion in the center. The area has a few paid parking lots right across the street. The food was very authentic and delicious. They have unique cocktails and a decent wine list.

Miscommunication about what I ordered and what they charged. 16 dollars for rice and a fired banana and two eggs is crazy. I thought it was with chicken. Hit someone thought different. Anyway. Nice place

We had nice food and Pisco Sours and the staff is the best - we even had a little tour through the whole building which was very impressive!

The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. The waiter was friendly and helpful, he recommended some nice food and gave us information about Peruvian bread, which was interesting to us.

Such a wonderful and stylish restaurant in the heart of the city. The service is fantastic, the food is absolutely delicious and there’s plenty of choice. Besides the Peruvian food, many others choices are on the menu. The prices are slightly higher than the average in Lima, but the quality is fantastic and the proportions are quite big as well.

We were 10 in our party celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Lima. We had our aperitif at the English Bar .. a piece of history.. stunning. We moved on to the elegant restaurant. The food was excellent.. impeccable service. Two people in our party were celiacs and lactose intolerant. We phoned in advance to request a special menu. The chef provided us with a wonderful Lomo Saltado and also a choice on starters and deserts which we didn’t take, it was our choice. The servings are large.
The restaurant offers a first class show of Peruvian Traditions and Dances besides a musican playing different pipes. Very profesional artists. A great experience.
If there is one criticism which is a vey personal point of view is that such elegant restaurant is let down by the choice of background music not at the standard of such a classy place as one would expect.
We highly recommend it.

Excellent setting in a renovated building built in the mid to late 1800s. Excellent cocktails, did not try the food, but definitely worth stopping in for a drink just to gawk at the ornate rooms and decor.

Food was great, our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was just beautiful. Would definitely go back

The service was a bit slow, probably for the lunch rush time. Hopefully they will improve soon. Overall it was a very good experience. Cocktail and food were excellent.

Went with my family for lunch and we were all delighted with the service, the fabulous food and the beautiful surroundings.

Sat and the bar and had the bartender walk me through their National selection and a couple of starters.

Great place! There is a nice show on Sundays. I really recommend the place.
