La Patarashca Restaurante - Comida Amazónica

We came here for lunch after a week-long retreat. The food here was amazing. In particular, the ceviche was great, so was the chicken soup. Just about everything we had was good.

Edit: food was so good we came back for dinner.

Beautiful good with amazing flavours. The curry was absolutely delicious. Everything was very fresh! Great pisco sours too.

really delicious regional food! we stayed 7 days in tarapoto and its definitely the best and most authentic food we've had! the staff is really attentive and has a lot of knowlege! the food is in taste, quality and in preparation absolutely amazing. would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves good food! :-)

Beautiful restaurant with pool in dining area. Large amount of tropical plants and beautiful decor and attentive staff. Large menu of items. The tropical fruit with the paiche was absolutely amazing. I think it may have been the freshest coconut I ever had.

Great amazonian food. Skip the front tables, go up the stairs and out the back to a plant filled patio that makes you feel much more in a jungle setting. If you like heat and chili ask for Aji Charapita with lemon, only be advised only eat the actual chili if you can stand very hot food, certainly an experience!

Great staff, great service, best meal I had in Peru. We had a group of 11 and everyone was happy with what they ordered.

The paiche charcuterie is incredible. High quality food in a cozy spot with great service. We had an amazing meal.

Excellent food, wonderful setting. I ate there twice once on the ground level and once upstairs. The food and service were excellent but I would recommend the upstairs due to noise from the traffic out front.

Awesome food. Moreover we got to meet Jaime. We had an awesome time and he showed us the whole garden and nature of the restaurant!

The best it gets in Tarapoto!...A lovely time. Took my husband for his birthday, he thoroughly enjoyed it as well as I did! You will be well taken care of here. The atmoshere is done very well, rustic and well taken care of. They offer so many things on menu, something for everyone. You can walk through their garden/pool area. And there are hotel rooms at the end of the garden walk. Walking past all the rooms is very lovely and quaint till you end up on the other side where there is another place to eat of theirs also..... You wouldn't know from the street all this is inside...One of Tarapoto's finest places!!

Green, tasty, nice to jump in a pool and spend time in the sun.
