Such an amazing experience, very peaceful inside. The food was amazing too, and breakfast was everything I could want with fruits and oats and eggs. Also, Marko at reception spoke good English and was such a great help. Thank you so much for everything.

I'm suprised this hotel only has two stars! Admittedly, they sometimes have problems with the hot water, which was a bit of a pain when it happened to us on one day...but whatever is wrong at his hotel is made up by the amazing atmosphere. It feels like a little paradise with all the flowers and the parrot, many places to chill out and relax in a hammock. The food and drinks were also great. I would recommend it!

Awesome food, great vibes, an AWESOME massage lady! Just wish the pool was heated... but other then that... a pretty nice hotel... they even have a store that sells awesome chocolate, salt, pasta, etc. 🤗

We adored this place!! Comfortable and clean rooms, beautiful patio with the option of ordering from the restaurant or the cafe. Great free breakfast! Awesome pool. There are two parrots that hang out in the patio who will let you pick them up, and a white cat with light green eyes. Within walking distance to a supermarket and plaza for some shopping. Can get a little loud with the club music nearby on the weekends, but wasn't a big deal. I would totally stay here again! Thanks for the great experience!

Very accommodating hotel. Comfort and happiness of the guests is definitely a top priority for the hotel. They provide a shuttle service to and from the airport making transportation upon arrival and departure very easy. While checkout is at a normal time (around 11), they will happily look after your belongings if you have a later flight.

The rooms were okay, I didn't quite have hot water in my room, or I was not patient enough to wait for the hot water to come... (it was running for over 3 minutes).

What makes the hotel, aside from the kind staff is the restaurant. The attached restaurant is absolutely incredible. I never felt the need to leave the premises to go elsewhere for food, nor did I want to. I would highly recommend the "Saltado Regional" and the "Juanes de 4 sabores". For those who like spicy food, you must try the charapita salsa. Definitely experiment with the different rainforest cocktails and liquors. Chuchuhuasi, llamayuyo, 7 raices, and so on. Amazing drinks.

Amazing amazonic cuisine with high quality and great taste. The restaurant's ambient is as well calm, peaceful and well designed, being away from the busy main streets. Especially recommended to try the special soup called patarashca!

Excellent food, great ambiance, friendly service. Nice and calm, you can take your time here and have a delicious meal enjoying some peace and quiet you will rarely find during the day in the busy, and sometimes quite noisy streets of downtown Tarapoto. A bit more expensive than your backpacker standard places, but well worth it. Better enjoyed with friends!

I stayed here for two weeks and I couldn’t of asked for a better place. The rooms where clean and so pretty with fans and air conditioning. The hotel food was stellar and the service amazing. The knew I did not speak much Spanish and helped me out so much and checked on me. Mi gusto mucho

Great hotel, fair price, and delicious free breakfast. WiFi is so-so, but the garden, the pool and the beautiful rooms compensate quickly! Staff is very nice and I slept very well the whole week I was there.

Very Good food, however, it arrived randomly. Drinks are fun and very exotic. There is no lock in men's bathroom.

this place is incredible for the price. didn't really use the pool, but the food is good. will definitely stay again next time im in tarapoto!

I'm from Lima, the capital of Perú in the coast area (quite deserted) ; eventually I visited the highlands and also the amazon area of Perú (which is actually the biggest area in the country though much more importance has traditionally been given to either the coast or highland areas as Cuzco). I found the most beautiful landscapes and nice weather in the amazon area particularly in the subtropical rainforest area, a bit higher than the amazon basin (way to hot for me) near the city of Tarapoto (taris as we abbreviate it locally) a higher area called 'Lamas' is by far one of the best I've found being not so warm as other jungle areas as it is around 900 meters above sea level (temperature and weather zones in Perú are directly related to altitude) . Patarashca hotel is one of the few that give you the 'rainforesty atmosphere', others unfortunately seem to believe that the visitor coming from a big city want to feel as if they had not traveled out of their towns.... Patarashca on the much clever side offers the feeling of being in the middle of the rainforest while being only blocks from the city´s main square. It comprises not only the Hotel but also one of the finest restaurants on town (for typical food) and a great cultural bar/cafeteria called Suchiche, so it´s a great place to stay and begin falling in love with the nicest but neglected area of Perú, a country with more than 15 thousand years of history :-)
