Playa El Palmar

calm and clean beach with black volcano sand. During the week there's almost no one there, you have the beach to yourself. During the weekend there were many locals, mostly families, no crazy parties or loud music. At low tide you can walk for a really long time along the beach. Small waves for beginners to learn how to surf.

Great beach with beautiful black sand. We went in the morning at low tide (in the dry season) and the kids could swim without a problem. Large area for our toddler to run around and play also. We stopped on our way from El Valle to Panamá City - it was right on the way. It’s a little confusing to find where you can park and enter the beach. Follow waze to Playa El Palmar, you’ll go down a small road and come to a Y. Go right and follow the signs to the surf school. You can park for $5 and rent a covered table and chairs for $20. It’s well worth it. There are bathrooms and an outdoor shower included. There is a little food place right next to the parking lot with pretty good food and drinks.

De mis playas favoritas!!!! Pueden hospedarse o simplemente pasar el día. Tienen restaurantes, dan clases de surf, etc. Pueden ingresar con su propia comida. Recuerden llevarse siempre su basura.
