This is a beautiful apartment complex just on thd beach with wonderful pools and gym, pickleball and other facilities. Always a delightful place to visit or live.

I can't say enough about Playa Serena. Great staff, the people are friendly, the grounds are very nice, it's right on the beach and very accessible. A great place to kick back and relax.

Nueva Gorgona Playa Serena is a Beautiful apartment complex with two towers, three swimmimg pools and many other worthwhile amenities. I would defintely recommend Bahia. Very much worth the stay.

This is a pretty decent beach, I have been on several occasions throughout this trip due to the severe jellyfish problem on other locations, however, today was a weekend, and was being targeted as American, and trying to charge me more for a Cabana hut, that I'd been paying for all week, so pay attention to what you're being charged!

About Nueva Gorgona
Town in Panama

Nueva Gorgona is a town and corregimiento in Chame District, Panamá Oeste Province, Panama with a population of 4,075 as of 2010. Its population as of 1990 was 1,980; its population as of 2000 was 3,140. Nueva Gorgona is 79 km west from Panama City on the Pan American Highway. It is located between the towns of Chame and Coronado, 5 minute drive from either town. Gorgona's beaches and proximity to Panama city have attracted interest from developers. Gorgona has 4.2 km long beach with white / black sand and turquoise waters. Gorgona possesses one of the best surfing beaches in the area, and a fish market.
