Bastimentos Alive

We rented a private snorkeling and island tour to Zapatilla and had a wonderful time! During our boat tour we saw dolphins, sloths, various birds, and tons of neat tropical fish. I would highly recommend this tour.

Had a great tour with this company. Our guides were friendly and open to our suggestions of what we wanted to do. They spotted sloths so quickly in the trees and brought us to 2 nice snorkeling spots, Zapatillas, and a floating bar. We also saw jumping dolphins! Overall I highly recommend.

It’s very rustic down to earth

We had a really fun day exploring Bastimentos!

We booked a tour to Cayo Zapatillas and most of the tour was great - except the dolphin watching. It was brutal: one dolphin sticks his head out if the water and 20 speed boats chase after him with engines on full power. The dolphins must have been so stressed with the boats coming up to 2 meters close to them with their engines going! If I had known this was part of the tour, I would never have booked it.

We booked a snorkeling/Zapatos tour online through this agency. The tour was great. In the end it came out though that we paid 50 dollars each while the others participating in the tour paid only 30, some 35. The tour was not a tour organized by the agency but a common tour, all hotels/hostels (f.e. El Jaguar) can book with the boat captain and almost everywhere it is 30 dollars. We felt treated really unfair as we got the same to a much higher price. Not recommended to book with Bastimentos Alive.

We did the Polo Beach Tour today and we were not so excited about it. The 3 hour hike to Polo's Beach started with one hour of jungle, but afterworths the whole hike was along the beach. So we expected more hiking trough the jungle. Also the ending time was 16:30 on the website but in fact the tour was done at 15:30. The guides were cool and the lunch by Polo was great but the whole tour was not worth 45$.

Alive tours bestaat helaas niet meer. Ton blijkt 6 a 7 maanden geleden vertrokken te zijn

Einfach vor Ort im Hostel oder am Stand kaufen. Es sind alles die gleichen Touren und Plätze sind immer verfügbar.

Wir fühlen uns betrogen. Eine kleinen Aufschlag für die Onlinebuchung hätten wir verstanden aber nicht ein Ausschlag von 66%.
