Green Coast Hostel

We did not stay here but we did have two dinners and went to them to arrange some isla trips. They were very helpful in setting up a tour and we were also able to rent a kayak through them.
This review is about the two dinners we had which were Excellent. At this time ( November 2019) there is a new Manager from Germany running the Hostel and Christine the Chef from Poland preparing all the meals. Had the one of the best hamburgers I have had in a very long time with great fries. It was close to 1/2 pound with bacon and homemade pickles on coconut bread toasted just right. My wife had a specially made vegetarian burger which was delicious. Our second meal was a homemade pot roast and another updated vegetarian burger.

We stayed here for three nights with my partner and had a great experience! Clean double bedroom with private bath and an AC for a good price, right by the water (the water taxi guy who works with the affiliate El Jaguar can take you anywhere in the archipelago for lower than the tourist market price). Only downside is that kitchen is in the premises of El Jaguar. We were lucky that they allowed us to use it but we have heard that if El Jaguar is too full, you may not be always able to use it!

We spent unforgetable few days in Green Coast and that was a great time. Lovely place with wonderful and helpful staff. Great food served by chef Carolina (not to forget Ariel's skills 😁). Dimi - thanks for keeping all in order during our stay. Ina - I loved our chats 😁 Keep up the good work and hopefully see you all soon! And of course part of our love goes also to Ninia, Pasztet and Qwa 😋

I stayed here for five days and I was very satisfied and enjoyed that. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. I can fully recommend this accomodation for backpackers(prices was very reasonable) and for those who don't require swimming possibility because there are moving taxi boats very often near the water entrance.

Siamo state lì per tre notti. La struttura é molto basica e semplice ma.. il personale é super simpatico ed accogliente. Il proprietario Dmitry é molto attento e generoso. C'è atmosfera libera, calma ed allegra. E Carolina riesce a fare uscire piatti squisiti dalla minuscola cucina che ha a disposizione. C'è anche piatti vegani freschi tutto servito con amore e gusto.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte dort. Sehr gastfreundlich, aufmerksam. Mein Partner kann leider nicht alles essen, es wurde sehr individuell auf ihn eingegangen und es wurde exzellent für uns gekocht. Die Küche war so wie wir uns das Essen in der Karibik vorstellen. Leider bekommt man auf der Insel meist nur Fast Food was sehr schade ist. Darum geht dort essen, es lohnt sich.

Katrin und Ich möchten uns Herzlich bedanken!!! Wir haben leider noch eine Nacht im Green Coast Hostel verbracht doch diese war fantastisch! Die Gastgeber sind zuvorkommend und lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Wir haben leider nur das leckere Frühstück geniessen können aber das “coconutbread“ werde ich so schnell nich vergessen, es war ein Traum. Kommen gerne wieder!! wir Wünschen euch nur das beste. Good value for the money. Nice hostel.

Diay, los precios están bien, pero les falta retocar el lugar, lo han abandonado un poco, algo de detalles o pintura no estaría mal, se encuentra un señor dice ser el padre de unas de las chicas, ese señor es demasiado repugnante, se mete en los negocios de sus hij@s y no deja posibilidades, además se le encargo un bote y no llegó, las chicas que atienden (sus hijas) son bellísimas personas no hay queja alguna, ellas me explicaron que hacían los tours y viajes en bote, que es algo que no sabíamos por que una de ellas cuando llegamos no nos informó nada al respecto.
