The gardens have a beautiful layout, there is enough space for the animals and animals, birds and trees are marked that you know what you see. The caretaker of the parrots has such a passion for these birds and they listen to his commands and he will tell you the story of each parrot. A great family outing and a must see if you enjoy fauna and flora.

Was great to go back finally after a year, the process and safety measures are great, although maybe a little frustrating for the kids as they limit time in certain areas ensuring your only within your family or visitor bubble.

The visitor center is informative, but the outside observation area is the true attraction. From there you’ll have a fantastic view over the new Aqua Clara Locks and watch gigantic New Panamax Class ships pass through. Stunning and impressive. A ~15min. Movie (offered in English and Spanish) provides interesting facts about the channels history and construction. There is also a small gift shop (you can get the same merchandise everywhere else for less) and a cafe offering small bites and drinks. Keep you eyes open for wildlife.

BRING A PONCHO INSTEAD OF AN UMBRELLA OR WATERPROOF JACKET. High winds can occur out of nowhere with rain and depending on the quality of your umbrella, it can damage it. This place is pretty easy to walk around except the mini rain forest path which is located next to the restaurant on the left of the entrance. It's an incline that includes handrails if you need them and it can be slippery if you don't watch your step. The steps are about a foot tall which is an odd design and can be moderately difficult for older folks. The humidity can also affect your pace of walking. Next to the visitors center is a view balcony where you can watch ships go through the locks (the sections that they call it when the ship rises and falls) and watch them in action. There's also a tiny gift shop. Every 15 mins or so, there's a mini documentary presentation (15 min length of duration) near the entrance of the park about the construction and fascinating history of the 2nd lock system that included people involved from around the world representing different countries. Very cool things to learn about how consumerism is fueled by the assistance of the panama canal.

Awesome place to visit! For COVID reasons you have to enter the Canal's website to make an appointment to visit, but it's an excellent experience.

Quite a treat to see the costruction of the Panama Canal up close. Be patient & watch the doors open, close & the water rise & fall.

Wow! A well worth ride from Ciudad to see this site. Illustrates well recent investments of government to remain competitive in the global trade space. Views of infrastructure and nature are incredible. Maybe lack of interactive modules for kids.

Very lovely place for international visitors in panama.. A must visit place for visitors and tourists, passerby even. Big lovely viewing platform overlooking the docks makes the oncoming ships accessible. Although it us a bit tasking getting there by bus. But once one gets there,it is definitely worth it

Loved the view and very educational. It's a wonderful experience to see how all the goods we have available world wide is passed through the canal and how it works. A big plus is all the fauna and flora that surrounds it.
