Had a wonderful stay at Popa Paradise resort. Such a relaxing low key environment. The food was great the room was great! Ours was right on the beach. The pool bar was a lot of fun. We were worried about the weather because the forecast said rain every day but it was sunny every day. Would definitely recommend we had a great time. Also transportation was super easy from Bocas no worries. The owners are super nice and the staff was great as well. If you want to get off the island and explore its super easy to do. Can't wait to plan our next trip back.

my stay at Rosie and Vince's Island Resort was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of the stunning location, exceptional service, especially from the staff, and the overall ambiance makes it a destination I would strongly recommend and return to.

During my recent stay at Rosie and Vince's Island Resort, I was utterly captivated by the serene beauty and exceptional service that define this tropical haven. From the moment I arrived, the scenic views and the warm, welcoming ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable experience.

The accommodations provided a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, with breathtaking views that were a daily delight. Dining was lovely as well.

Also don’t be thrown by the clothing optional - I didn’t participate and it truly is an optional thing.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Popa Paradise over New Years. It was one of the most relaxing friendly vacations I ever had. Everyone made us feel welcome, from the person that ferried us to the island from Bocas del Toro to the group that waved us off from the pier when we left. The owners, Vince and Rosie were always available and were happy to answer questions and explain to us how the resort worked “off the grid”. Why go to paradise and allow the world to intrude, so we didn’t mind that our phones weren’t ringing, and Wi-Fi was only available in the main building, it met our needs and led to a more relaxing vacation. Our room was great, we had views of the beach from every window. The pool was refreshing and enjoyed the swim up tiki bar. Georgia and Pedro and the rest of the staff took care of us, our glass was never empty, and the food was well prepared. A great surprise was fresh caught lobster for dinner one night (and no upcharge for that). The only dilemma now is how soon we can get back for another visit!

Popa Paradise is exactly what is advertised. It is an upscale, adults only, clothing optional (emphasis on optional) tropical island getaway for people who want a quiet, all-inclusive vacation "away from it all". If you are looking for all night entertainment with loud music, or daytime "fun and games" with young "fun makers", and an unlimited 24/7 menu, this is not your place. It takes some effort to get to Popa Paradise, but it's worth it. Upon arrival at the resort by boat from the private dock in Bocas del Toros you will be treated like family. The food and lodgings are first class, The meals are prepared with locally (on the island) produced foods and seafood combined with supplies from the mainland. People with mobility issues may find Popa Paradise challenging. Your holiday at Popa Paradise is pretty much what you decide to make of it. There are kayaks to paddle out for local snorkeling, there are paved paths within the resort for walking, and jungle paths for the adventurous. The pool is pristine. Take top shelf insect repellant for the sand fleas on the beach. Because international flights to Panama arrive at Tocumen airport, and the necessary domestic flight from Panama City to Bocas del Toro operates from the domestic airport near downtown, I suggest taking an "extra day" (or two) in Panama City on your way.

Stayed here a week and it is truly a paradise. It has a nice pool area with a bar in the pool as well as the most beatiful private beach. All the food we got was so tasty, my absolute favorite was the tuna and all the desserts! This is the perfect place if you wish to relax and de-connect. It is peaceful and off the grid on a secluded island and Rosie went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible time. There are multiple tours available. We went to dolphin bay and went snorkling on Zapatillas Island, but the snorkling is great also right on the beach of the resort. Like everywhere in the Caribbeans there are insects in the evening so be sure to bring insect repellent.

Great place to spend 2-3 days of absolute rest in a beautiful (and exclusive) all-inclusive resort located in a paradise island. The central facilities are excellent and the individual bungalows, though not being luxury, are comfortable and very clean.
The service was simply outstanding. Vince and his crew were very caring and kind to us and definitely helped to make ur stay very memorable.

Woke up each morning in our beach side casita to a spectacular sunrise with world famous Zapatilla Islands on the horizon.
We spent many unforgettable hours kayaking to deserted white sand beaches and snorkeling beautiful coral reefs. Each afternoon we lounged by the pool and drank bottomless custom cocktails at the swim up bar. Both the food and attentive service at breakfast, lunch and dinner exceeded expectations.
Saving the best for last... Our hosts Vince & Rosie made us feel like great friends, not just guests. The entire staff were very friendly and saw to our every need.
We are already planning our trip next year to Popa Paradise Resort.

Such a magical place! We had the most wonderful time there. Such a unique place. The staff, food, facilities, and room were all five stars. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to go somewhere off the beaten path.

The beachfront is breathtaking. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with lots of space.
The staff is all local natives from Bocas. They’re all very helpful, friendly and bilingual.
The food is amazing, mixing Caribbean flavors with local ingredients.
The pool area is a unique place where you can spend all day chilling and if you like drinking, the bar is all inclusive.
I really recommend this place if you want to experience Bocas del Toro in a more private place in front of the most beautiful island “Zapatillas” twenty minutes from the resort, and away from the backpackers, filthy parties and crazy life from the main island.
Vince and Rosy will make you feel welcomed and they are really fun and friendly owners.

Great trip. Vince and Rosie are great hosts. All inclusive makes all the stress go away, pool is amazing. Wonderful place to disconnect! Will definitely return!

The resort is fantastic, the beaches are great and private and the pool is great also. All is really included, From shakes by the pool to kayaks and movies for the room. The chefs are very good and open to make you what you like . The managers Daniele and Helena are soooo nice! All the staff is really nice and will make everything to make you happy.

Popa Paradise Beach Resort is Not a scam, but a resort that went through a transition. The resort did undergo new management and like any company, it can take a bit to get things going. It is especially difficult when the resort is on a remote island only accessible by boat. Popa Paradise is the only establishment on Isla Popa and provides jobs for the 300 plus locals living in the island. Like the nice ladies that made us a Towel Swan every morning, the Fishing Guide who provided our Wahoo Dinner, the artisans who I can thank for the Coconut Oil Soaps and yummy Hot Sauce at Dinner! Or even a couple traveling through Central America, like Amber and Matt, who we met during our stay. During our stay at Popa Paradise, we also met a young couple living in Bocas, who had a beautiful wedding at the Resort this year! The resort is beautiful, especially for an off the beaten path wedding, that even the local couples marry there. I cannot wait to go back!!!

We had a truly lovely experience at the resort and I’m already plotting when and how to visit again. The resort sits on a semi remote island and it’s huge. It’s not overcrowded so we had tons of space and privacy and constant attention / help with anything we wanted. Vince and Rosie were lovely hosts and very accommodating as our travels changed a lot (when you are on a secluded island that is no small task). We enjoyed the pool and the kayaks - the private beach is something out of a movie. We sprung for the nice suite at the corner of the property where we had ocean views in every direction (some pics attached to give you a sense of the view). It’s all inclusive and we never had an empty glass.
Special shout out to Pedro and Georgia and the rest of the staff who not only took care of us - food, drinks, boat trips and all that - but they were a ton of fun to chat with. Made the visit all the more lovely (Pedro is Brazilian - ask him for his caipirinha!)

Echo other comments. We didn’t end up taking advantage of the clothing optional “option” and we were very comfortable. Don’t let that deter you - it would be criminal to miss this place because u think that’s a big thing.

I will forever recommend Popa Paradise to anyone who wants to have the time of their life! Vince and Rosie were amazing hosts and their island was a scene from my dreams. We stayed in the Luxury suite and if you are celebrating something (like a wedding) THIS SUITE IS A MUST! The views from the suite were phenomenal and incomparable to the other casitas. Vince and Rosie set up our entire wedding, sent us recommendations for photographers, and executed every single detail of our wedding. If you are in the market for a wedding venue this is the place to do it. They are easy going, super helpful, and so accommodating. Their crew was also so nice and waited on us hand and foot with a huge smile! The food was incredible. The drinks were made fresh! (I will never forgot the piña coladas made pool side) At the resort you truly feel like royalty. You will not even want to get on your phone unless you are taking photos of the unbelievable landscape! I promise you will not regret staying here. It’s been almost a year since our stay and I still think about our stay there every day.
