Amazing place with great people!! We had the best experience with Chenoa and Binns. They were super attentive and took us everywhere we wanted to go for a great price. We saw Isla Pájaros, Playa Estrella, and did a day tour to Cayo Zapatilla, Isla Hollywood, and a nighttime bioluminescence tour. We are two 23/24 year old girls and felt very safe!! Highly recommend :)

My wife and I were walking in Boca’s town and stopped to talk to Peter who was very nice. He signed us up for Zapatos island trip and we had a blast! Met some cool people on the trip and out captian Símon took great care of us. Recommend extra water sunscreen and a long sleeve shirt for the ride back.

I had a great experience with these guys (couple both from UK 30y/os).

They flagged us down on the street opposite from Selina Hostel when walking past one evening, which I usually hate and prefer doing things myself, but one guy (Peter) was so honest and gave us a good price straight away to Panama City (from Bocas Town) so we booked there and then in cash. Then 24hrs later, suddenly the October 2023 national strikes kick off shutting down primary roads, unfortunately we had a commitment in Panama City that couldn't move. Then we had 36hrs with Peter regularly giving us situation update because the mainland bus company kept delaying things. Eventually we had to go due to our commitments and the Ngabe team were very understanding.

In addition, when we wanted to go to Red Frog Beach, Peter and the Ngabe team took us there and back with no problems and a good price so I would recommend these guys from my experience. Thanks guys

Rocky and his boys helped us get around the islands throughout our entire stay in Bocas (4 days) and we booked a day trip with them, which was awesome. No complaints here. Great service

Everything as we agreed a day before trip, including the taxi pickup from our place in price of the ticket. 6h tour - we saw dolphins, sloths, starfishes, was coral reef snorkeling, two hours stop on beach, food (not included in ticket), Beers and bottled water agreed in price, only issue that two of 8 our beers were alcohol free 😁

Took the 5 stop tour on recommendation from Dimitry at Casa Max and so pleased we did - great hard working crew, upbeat all day and never felt rushed on any of the stops as we saw dolphins, impromptu sloth stop, snorkeling, good lunch break, lots of time to enjoy Isla Bastimentos and even though it was well after run time of the day still made sure we got to see lots of starfish on the way back. If we'd been in Bocas for longer would definitely have used Ngabe crew again

Hard working team. We have gone on a few tours with them over the years and even hired them for private boat trips. They have always treated us well.

I have just read through every review before mine. I have never had a bad experience. Many taxi/tour companies seem aggressive (swarm) if you are not use to it. But simple telling them "no thank you" / "no gracias" usually does the trick. Or "not today". Be friendly and they are friendly back. You can't begrudge them for trying, this is how they survive. Also, be sure you actually understand what you are getting and get a receipt.

Again, over the past 4 years of coming to Bocas, we have used these guys several times with no issues.

We originally booked a Shuttle with Selina red frog which was canceled 30min after it should have left because the border at guabito/ sixaloa was supposedly closed (which was a lie, there were only 2 small roadblocks from peaceful and friendly protesters).
Although I was very sceptical at first as some of the guys seem like the typical pushy salesmen, Hilton was very friendly and helpful as he assisted us to get to puerto viejo quickly even though it was quite pricey because we had to take a private transfer.
Ask for Hilton and you will get prob. get great Service!

I had a great travel experience with these guys so nothing to complain about. Granted there does seem to be quite a few bad reviews here that do make kinda sense, but if you're too sensitive to salesmen trying to sell you stuff in a street (that you're not under arrest) and don't at least ask around a few shops to find the right price to haggle a bit; is that your fault or theirs...? Would recommend.

I really liked the staff who gave us their what's app and helped us alot get water taxis to and from the islands and we did the night time bio luminous plankton tour too which was beautiful! Just be prepared to haggle a bit you can get a better deal.

There are many tours that do the same 4-point boat trip. They are all probably as fantastic as this one. Hilton was a nice driver and kept us informed during the trip. The places we visited were so beautiful with clear water, blue water light sandy beaches and nature trails. The only negative was the initial hard sell: we took a shuttle from the airport and the driver, and team, had us stop at their tourist kiosk before getting to our destination...an unexpected stop to sell us the tour. We bought the tour and Rocky, the pitch man, told us we could be flexible when we took the tour. I'm glad they were flexible as i got food poisoning and could not go the next day. Also, at the last minute Rocky called me to tell me he could not get a hold of his driver to come pick us up, so we had to pay for a taxi (1.20USD for 2..super cheap). You can expect this kind of thing in these parts of the world so it was no big deal. I was impressed about how careful they were with trash on the whole trip. I strongly recommend Ngabe, and reading other reviews made me skeptical, but since we caved to the hard-sell we were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the whole trip. This is a must do when coming to bocas. Rocky was Mr Personality and someone you'd love to have a beer with!

Please take the bad reviews here with a grain of salt! Don Hilton and everyone else involved gave our group an excellent experience with prices clearly defined on the board. They fulfilled every promise and were very flexible. It was an excellent experience and I will highly recommend it to anyone.

We were greeted by Armando at Ngabe tours while waking to the Bastimentos dock. He was friendly and offered a boat taxi. He showed us various tours they offered and several were the experiences we were looking for. Signed up for a couple of tours. The tours were handled expertly. On time, friendly boat captain, and cold beverages on hand. Tours were fun, guides friendly, and we never felt rushed. Armando made our Panama vacation unforgettable. For us, everything went well ! We went to Puerto Viejo from Bocas for 4 days and all the transfers were well coordinated. They came and pick us up at Bastimientos to follow the trip from Bocas! There is actually 3 steps ! Boat trip from Bocas to Almirante and the bus to the frontier, immigration, then you cross a bridge by walking with passeport control. Arrived in Costs Rica there is another bus waiting to bring you to Puerto Viejo 😀

The quality of service ngabe tours offered is the best we could get in bocas town. They offered us $20 per person(beer and water included). The trip lasted for about 5 hours and went to 4 locations around the islands. Definitely, I recommend this tour agency 10/10.

Hilton from Ngabe Tours saved the day for me with a tour to the bat caves after the Selina Hotel on Red Frog Island failed me and another customer on all counts. I was treated with rudeness by Selina. Hilton at Ngabe Tours looked after us that day with a guided tour to the bat caves. He also arranged my taxi boat to and from Red Frog Island. Thank you!

In contrast to some of the other transfer issues on here we as a family of 4 had a very good experience. Pick up was on time and smooth transfers all the way to our next accommodation in Costa Rica. Communication was good and the price was fair.

Great tour! We highly recommend! Rigo is a great adviser, he will offer you the most adapted tour according to your expectations. I was with a friend for 2 days and we were very happy to have this company that we could trust for the tour and also for taking us to our hostel which was quite far from the main island.
