The place was beautiful and the staff was amazing. One of the best parts was the staff. Super helpful. We wanted to do a beach day and when they dropped us off we found that they had setup chairs and umbrellas in advance. Food was great and there was so much to do. Hiking, water sports, a cooking class. If you're looking for a place to stay, this is definitely it.

One of the nicest resorts I‘ve been so far. Highly recommended. Wonderful 5* location, friendly and very attentive staff, great cuisine, peaceful nature all around and a very interesting local culture (called „Congo Culture“). The hotel and its staff are able to provide many interesting insights and stories on the local culture and the hotel is supporting many local non-profit initiatives to keep the unique culture alive and to support the community wellbeing. Its therefore a special experience and guests can feel more „plugged-in“ into the history and local surroundings than in any other „regular hotel“ without sacrificing on 5* amenities and full relaxation. Pristine nature and beaches are around the corner and just a quick boat ride away that the staff is happy to organize quickly. Highly recommended - we had an amazing experience and hope to come back.

Had a fantastic time in this superb and beautifully designed hotel, which is located next to the small town of Portobelo surrounded by untouched nature, rain forest, beautiful isolated beaches and more. This is not your typical 5* hotel, it's much better. The hotel complex has been carefully built with a very personal touch by the owners, where you almost feel like at home and not in a hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The experience we had was uncomparable and truly unique. Among others we enjoyed activities & lunch at lonely beaches, engaged in a cooking course, cocktail mixing and even dove into the local culture through a percussion session. Recommend 1000%!

Amazing, exclusive small resort. Only 20 guests. Truly beautiful tropical design. The grounds are naturally spectacular. Perfect for couples on a special romantic getaway.

Sencillamente El Otro Lado, es de otro mundo, un paraíso! Pasando en lancha desde Portobelo a escasos 5 minutos puedes encontrar este hermoso y tranquilo lugar, rodeado de naturaleza, se puede avistar animalitos y despertar con el canto de las aves, paseo en balsa. De la comida ni se hable, riquísima y una atencion de lujo. Un buen lugar para olvidarte del ruido y purificar el alma.

La mejor opción en Portobelo, por encima de Casa Congo. La locación lo hace increíble. Apacible. La brisa y el mar se complementan de forma perfecta.
María es un encanto de persona y se encarga de todos los detalles para que la estancia sea sencillamente espectacular.

EL lugar para pasar unos días alejados de todo y con el mejor servicio, comida, atención. Las villas son un lujo! María, jorge, jelly son increibles! No hay un detalle que les falte, además todo esta perfectamente decorado! Israel, Aurora y Jesus: son los mejores! Y van a hacer hasta lo imposible porque tu estancia sea lo mejor.
Además, apoyan a la comunidad con su organización de música y es increibme ver a los chicos cantando en el hotel.

Nos hospedamos en el «Sea House» muy cerca del infinity pool y el restaurante. Excelente servicio con un exclusivo menú.
