Sarah's property is a haven of pool, plants and artsy touches from her travels around the world. My welcome and end to end stay were managed perfectly by the property managers and Sarah herself was also present during my trip and often checked how everything was. It was all perfect! Comfy bed, clean, well equipped casita, ncredibly tranquil, a few mins walk to the beach or few mins drive to the main shops etc. There's nowhere I'd recommend more highly for a trip of any length to Coronado.

Great stay at the beach for new years! Sarah Jane is incredibly detailed (emails and a guide in the room containing everything about the casita, nearby restaurants, and beaches.) It is close to beach entrances, restaurants, stores. The check-in and check-out were very easy. Everyone there was helpful and kind when we arrived, when we headed out with the car, helping us open/close the gate. The casita is fully furnished. Door that locks, a small safe, big bed, space for our daughter's travel crib, air conditioning, wi-fi, hot water, a full kitchen, microwave, 4 burner stove and oven, pots, pans, silverware, a small kitchen table, two chairs, shelf space, coffee, coffee filters, coffee cups, water glasses, a water pitcher, bath towels, pool/beach towels, hand soap... it had everything. We appreciate that this stay was dog friendly so we could enjoy our little furry one while at the beach. The pool is large and there is an outside shower to remove sand when coming back from the beach.

We have come to the end of our first month at Panama Sarah's.
We just love this place. The Casitas are clean with everything you need for your stay. Each one has a theme.
We stayed in Tortuga (turtle) our first two times and this year we tried the Toucan (bird)casita. It's closer to the pool and back yard.
It is like a paradise in our own backyard oasis.
The four private casitas make it a quiet place where you meet each couple or persons, giving you a chance to meet new friends. There are tables with seats in the pool and matching umbrellas. Many chairs, tables, hammocks and loungers to enjoy the warm sunny climate. There's even a concrete ping pong table in the backyard. The yard is filled with different palm trees and flowering bushes. Many birds come in while sitting there.
It's only a 7 minute walk to the beach on the Pacific Ocean, which has a salt and pepper sand beach. You can walk for a mile or so and not see another person, so peaceful with the waves crashing the shore.
The internet is great and fast.
So glad we decided to stay for two months this year.
The relaxing atmosphere is perfect for reading, sunbathing or just walking the many streets of this gated community. Restaurants are so close to our place. Three large grocery stores are within two miles.
It's the perfect place for sunshine, warm pool and ocean. What more could you ask for.
Thanks Sarah, Diana and Armando for being great hosts, answering all my questions and helping with many reservations in the area.

We just stayed at Panama Sarah's Casitas for 6 weeks. We were in Casa Rana. The bed is comfortable and we loved the small private seating area out front for morning coffee. The kitchen is surprisingly large and very well equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal (or not if you choose to go to one of the many restaurants that Coronado offers). Luna Rossa and Picasso's are an easy walk from the Casita's, and many others are a short taxi or bus ride away. You can get either at the corner. Also, we rented the golf cart one day. There are several nice grocery stores in Coronado.
We rented a car and took several day trips. El Valle, El Cope, Pedasi and the Azuero Penninsula, Calovebora on the caribbean side of Panama, and Los Cajones de Chame (a great place to jump of the rocks and swim). We also had a recommended driver, Pedro, take us to Monkey Island and on a driving tour of Panama City. Both excellent tours. Sarah's property is wonderful! The pool is so refreshing, and there are many spots to relax in the sun or shade. The bbq grill came in handy. There is a large supply of books available for anyone who enjoys reading. The property managers, Diana and Armando, were always helpful and Sarah is able to answer any and all questions about Panama. She is able to help in any situation. You may not know Sarah when you arrive, but she'll be a friend when you leave. There are dogs on property, but no worries-they are well-behaved and friendly. And also super cute! We will return again next year to Panama Sarah's to spend more time with our panama friends 🧡

Sarah’s review:
We love Panama Sarah! We just stayed at Panama Sarah’s Casitas for a personal record 5th time in January 2023!
Coronado is a perfect winter retreat for folks from Pennsylvania, like my wife Pat and me. We are retired and we usually spend at least a week in Coronado whenever when we visit Panama. Sarah’s is perfect for us! For us it is one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed, among many, in over a decade of visits to Panama.
We love the Casitas – they are airconditioned, kitchenette units that meet our basic needs. We usually do breakfast and lunch, or microwave leftovers in the casita. They are basically tropical tourist cabins. There is a covered outdoor BBQ area outdoors for guests, too. We usually go out for dinners. There are lots of restaurant choices in the area, that are close by cab or car. The best part of Sarah’s for us is her beautiful and landscaped yard and pool. They are as beautiful as they appear in the video! The property also has wonderful little landscaped nooks for quiet reading or napping. The local beaches are an easy walk.
We have also met a host of people at Sarah’s whose company we have enjoyed, or not (see “nooks” above). Life at Panama Sarah’s is an unscripted tropical get away place at it’s best for us. If you are visiting Coronado for the first time, Sarah or Casita Manager Diana can help you regarding shopping, local services, cabs, car rental, airport transportation, car rentals, (or anything else) about, or in Coronado.

Very relaxing place to stay. The pool and garden area is beautiful and offers the opportunity to meet other guests or to find a spot hidden away with a good book. The casita was clean and the bed very comfortable. AC works great! So does the WiFi. The kitchen was very well stocked and cooking was a breeze. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. Excellent grocery stores and shopping within a few minutes drive. The people in Coronado are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book here again.

Sarah's Casitas was a great place to stay. We stayed a week and loved it. The pool area was amazing and it's just a 10 minute walk to the beach or Picassos restaurant. The staff at Sarah's was friendly and accomodating. We loved everything about our stay!

Best Casitas in Coronado! I met Sarah 7 years ago, my 1st friend in Panama and host of where I first stayed. I loved it so much I extended my trip. Sarah was so accommodating and knows just about everything there is to know about Panama, and if she doesn't, she knows someone who can help you! Her sanctuary is welcomed and visited year round from everyone all around the world and her visitors keep coming back year after year. Her property is an oasis and is by far the most welcoming place when visiting Panama. Thank you Sarah! You are awesome! xo

Stayed for five nights and enjoyed. We were Casita Tortuga which is equipped sufficiently for basic cooking. The pool area is awesome and the available Weber grill is a definite cut above the competition. Thanks Sarah

These casitas are adorable and the pool and grounds are a slice of heaven. And the location, just 2 blocks from beautiful Coronado Beach and bars and restaurants, a great choice for vacation. Sarah is great to work with. She will help you with transportation from Panama City and excursions in the area and she is lots of fun. We just got home from our stay and already planning for our next.

My husband and I stayed at Panama Sarah’s Casitas for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Sarah is the ultimate host, welcoming you warmly and seeing to every need you may have.

The casitas are well equipped for a short or longer stay with full kitchens and a nice place to sit outside.

The gardens are beautiful with a lovely pool and many places to seek the shade. A covered gazebo with a working BBQ is also available to use.

The casitas are located a short distance from the beach so beach walks are quite doable. At this time of year the beaches were almost deserted, they were all very clean.

To get around we used the collectives (small buses) that passed nearby as well as very reasonably priced taxis.

The Main Street in Coronado has everything you need, great grocery stores which were very well stocked, restaurants, fast food, a Walmart- type store.

The area is very safe and would make for a great holiday. Sarah will help you with all your transportation needs prior to arriving as well as when you are there.

We also enjoyed meeting and socializing with the other guests while we were there. Overall we had a lovely time and would highly recommend Panama Sarah’s Casitas.

Sarah is a wonderful host and concierge and goes to great lengths to ensure her guests are accommodated and have a great Panama experience. She has many connections and can arrange pretty much anything you need, from tours to advice on where to go and what to see. Her casitas are great, very comfy and in a garden setting with a wonderful pool. There are usually other guests one can socialize with or just chill in the pool or hammock under a banana tree with a book. She also has a few condo's nearby on the beach with spectacular views and pools if that's more to your liking. Always goes to great lengths to ensure the details are taken care of and you are met by herself or friends at check in and if you need anything.
For a laid back relaxing and fun Panama experience, this is it!

There were 6 ladies and one 4 year old boy, 1 cat 1 dog staying at the casitas. from beginning to end we had a blast, we had all the amenities we needed and then some. we hung out by the pool, CHECK, we had dinner and drinks by the pool CHECK, we went to the beach CHECK, we cooked on the grill, CHECK. WE were from multiple countries so we all had different expectations. but most of all we wanted a relaxing uninterrupted weekend of clam and quiet and we got it. i cant say enough wonderful things about the Sarah Casitas and her hospitality. we couldn't start the stove, Jose was there in 8 minutes, the tank needed changed. :-). attention to detail and customer service. thanks again

This property is enchanting. The caretakers are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The residents we met were well-matched with the homes as they were welcoming and happy to have the company.

We were looking for a place in Panama as we were interested in exploring the country. We found Sarah's casitas and booked in. We could not be happier with her response to our questions about her accommodation. When we got there, it was everything we expected and more. Everything from movie night to the beautiful back yard to the great pool to the great living area was as advertised. Sarah and Scottie are great hosts and bent over backwards to make our visit memorable. (Sarah even picked up a pay as you go sim card for my cellphone so I could get coverage right away. That is service). Sarah had contacts which we used to book a great Panama Canal tour. She is truly a full service host. We recommend her casitas to anyone who is looking to spend some time in Panama.

Shopping and beach are close by as well. Sarah's casitas are comfortable and well equipped. Her back yard with pool is a true gem ..like your own little oasis😎😎😎

December 2018 was our first visit to Panama. We researched places to stay in Coronado and found Panama Sarah’s casitas. We made the right choice and now have a lifetime of fantastic memories of this adventure and of Sarah, Scotty and the other casita guests. We met Panamanians who were very helpful everywhere we visited.
From the moment we booked our casita, Sarah was right on the ball with contacting us about our plans and needs during our stay. Her concierge services are outstanding. She helped us arrange transportation from the airport and back with Pedro (glad we did…you don’t want to rent a car and try finding your way out of Panama City on your early visits)! She has a golf cart available for rental to get around the neighborhood and even to Reyes, one fine grocery store. She then helped us rent a car in Coronado for the remainder of our stay. The day of our arrival was hectic. Our driver, Pedro, stopped so we could get some groceries and then took us to the casita. By that time, it was too late to cook, plus we were tired. No worries. Sarah had everything under control. She and Scotty took us with them to Picasso’s for dinner where we joined other couples and expats. Picasso’s is a hopping place. Vendors come on Tuesday mornings and you get to meet other expats from around the world; happy hour is every day; karaoke on Wednesdays; oh, and did we forget to mention, the food is great! After a good night sleep, more fun began. The casitas and Sarah’s property are beautiful. Once you’re sitting out by the pool watching and listening to the waterfall, snoozing in a hammock, talking to other guests, seeing an iguana or two, it’s hard to leave to do anything else! But we did. We took a short walk to the beach where we both experienced black sand (actually volcanic ash) and when it mixes with regular sand, and the tide goes in and out, the marbleized designs the two sands create are breathtaking!
Guests can also hitch a ride into town for groceries with Sarah or Scotty. She even let us take her car to town. When you meet this couple, you’ll feel like you’ve known them forever…like friends from back home.
Another fun experience was when we and another couple went to the town of Anton for mud baths. What an experience that was! We even brought a container of mud back to the States!
We learned so much about life in Panama and relocating just in our everyday conversations with Sarah. The woman is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge!
We’d go back in a heartbeat and are looking forward to relocating by the end of 2019! Enjoy your stay!
