The Boudha Inn

This was my third visit , my first since pandemic. It was like returning home to family. Clean , comfortable and family so welcoming cannot do enough to make you feel welcome.Excellent breakfast, would highly recommend and hope to return again soon .

Mid-range hotel with wonderful family-like hospitality that extends across staff and family members that run the place. The new wing has modern rooms while the older wing is spacious and convenient for meals. Enjoyed 5 nights’ stay during my Oct 2023 stay. Thank you to all the staff - as they were responsive and so helpful with airport transfer and many other fixes to the room as they were able.

I was very happy with room and service. Location is great and two restaurants near to help in western food if you have problems with spicy food. I plan to stay there again when I return to Nepal. Only thing be prepared for a cool room in February. Other then that I am happy to give them five stars as a hotel.

Have stayed here with Ang Chetar Sherpa 3 times in last 5 years… it’s a comfortable guest house with good rates… clean tidy rooms with hot shower… easy walk to Stupa

Such an incredible place to stay! We truly had the best experience.
We booked the rooftop room which was amazing value for money. We also saw the other rooms that looked very beautiful, they were designed to a high standard.
We did the yoga and meditation each morning and evening and this was fantastic. You need to try it out.

This place is very quiet and beautiful and perfectly located (2 minutes walk to Boudhanath Stupa)! The rooms are new, very clean and they have very comfortable beds. Hot water/shower all the time. The food is delicious and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We felt very comfortable and recommend this hotel!

We organized our trekking in the Annapurna region via the hotel. Our Nepal journey was a great experience - thank you Boudha Gallery Hotel for the hospitality and the great time!

We stayed at Boudha Gallery Hotel for two nights before our Annapurna Circuit Trek (organized through the hotel) and for four nights after the trek.

The hotel is situated on a quiet side street just two minutes walking from the Boudhanath Stupa and as such a great place to start journeys into Kathmandu (~400 NRP taxi fare to Thamel). Many restaurants and cafes are located around the stupa so they can easily be reached.

The entire place is very new and very clean and has everything we could have wished for: excellent breakfast/lunch/dinner that is prepared by the hotel chef, a room with a private bathroom (all-new, clean, hot shower) and a very comfortable bed, sunny terraces and most of all very attentive staff.

Everyone really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as it possibly could have been. Many thanks to the entire team at Boudha Gallery Hotel for their fantastic hospitality! We will definitely come back!

This place is phenomenal the owner and his staff are so great and polite. They'll get you a taxi, have your laundry done at a minimal charge. And the restaurant has delicious made from scratch traditional Nepali cuisine and a cozy little restaurant with Wi-Fi.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boudha Gallery Hotel. It is a new hotel and is tucked away just a few minutes’ walk away from the busy vibrant streets of Boudha and the famous Boudhanath Stupa, a famous prayer site for Tibetan Buddhist Monks and other Buddhists. The hotel was a welcome calm and peaceful retreat after a day in the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Nepal.

The hotel is situated near to many cultural and historical places including Pashupatinath Temple, one of the oldest Hindu Temples in Nepal, and nearby to this the Kirateshwor Mahadev Temple which holds classical concerts on every full moon day and the Gokarna Forest, as well as some of the most beautiful monasteries.

The hotel is new and is bright and airy with a gallery of paintings by a local artist. I had my own spacious room with an en-suite shower room, all fitted to a high standard. If you fancy a quiet night in then you can eat at the hotel which offers a range of different freshly home cooked Nepali dishes and some Chinese and other dishes at your request. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible, and also offered information on places to visit

Thank you to all of the staff at Boudha Gallery Hotel for making my stay in Nepal a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Nepal and would definitely stay at the hotel again should I have the opportunity to return to Nepal.

Ang Sherpa’s motto of “its all about the comfortable beds,” is right at this boutique hotel in the Boudhanath neighborhood. The beds are clean and comfortable and the front desk staff are very attentive and friendly. Ang has many years serving international clients as a Sherpa and his experience shows.

Many guests that stay are taking courses at the nearby monasteries but I was just needing a break from Thamel after completing The Three Passes Trek. It was an oasis for me. Plus it’s a pleasant ten minute walk to the Boudhanath Stupa. I spent a day walking up to the Kopan Monastery- which is about 35 minutes.

The area Boudha is relatively local's area
A short 15 min walk will get you to the stupa
The hotel is very clean, hot water, spacious and quite
The amazing point for me was the roof top meditation room that's open for you to use anytime
All the staff feel family oriented
As a single female first time traveling to Nepal, it's so peaceful and safe
