Bishnudwar is located at Shivapuuri National park and is the source of Bishnumati river.. It is 2 to 3 hours of hike from Shivapuri entry gate at budanilkantha.. This hike is suitable for those who cant walk much and still want hiking experience.. The walk itself is satisfying as you go through graveled road in the middle of the jungle. There are lots of sign post available at measure turning so you wont get to different place.. Worth a visit once..

Bisnudhuwar which lies in Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park is just few km away from capital. We can complete the hike from Budanilkantha temple at around 3 hours minimum. After the short hike we can witness 360 view of Kathmandu Valley. Flora and fauna is diverse and at Monsoon waterfall are many where you on beat the heat.

A short escape from the city. Perfect for a day hike to enjoy the serenty of nature. The trail is easy and short yet enjoyable. You can take different routes, from Danda gaun it takes longer. But a great trail if you have a vehicle. You will encounter lots of small waterfalls and rivulets. And also huge waterfalls. Refreshing and closee to nature. Take bus to narayanthan from chabahil or ratnapark. Once you reach the last bus stop at Narayanthan Temple hike for 20 to 25 minutes to reach Entrance of Shivapuri National park and 2 hours hike to Bishnudwar. Don't forget to enjoy the wildflowers and amusing sound of nature.

Short and pleasant hike of around 2 hours from Shivapuri National park gate at Budanilkantha. This place is the origin of Bishnumati river. It is refreshing to see clean and sparkling stream in contrast to Bishmumati river of the city. Only request to the people going there is please don't throw trash there. Bring it back with yourseves. Don't be ungrateful to mother nature and ruin the state of nature like in the city. Better be in some resteruant in Thamel/Jhamel if you can't respect abd enjoy the beauty of nature.

The way to the temple is along the river, wear slippers or waterproof shoes 😜. Be prepared to take off your shoes
