One of the finest religious place of Nuwakot district located at the riverbank of Tadi River whose source is Surya Kunda, one of the pond of Gosaikunda Area.
The place is located at very beautiful place, top of the hills.

One of the religious site of Hindhus and buddhist . The road is smooth except on some place . Lots of crowd on Saturday and Monday .

Any place near mahadev is very dearer to me. I got the very peaceful vibe. The road was rough but excellent place not just to worship but also to enjoy picnic with family by the river.

This is a temple of Lord Shiva, which is considered as a second Pashupatinath. It is just approx 80km North from Kathmandu valley and public transportation is also available.
As per local people and priest of the temple, it was believed that what ever is request to the GOD by a pray will be fulfilled. Devotee's visit the temple to fulfill their wishes. Also, the temple was discovered by a Tamang farmer.
The place is a cave but can be reached there easily. Nature and wild animals can be witnessed and enjoyed.
Highly recommended.

Religious and holy place of Lord Shiva.

It is also Known as the second Pashupati in Bagmati Province, Dupcheswor Mahadev temple is one of the famous temples of Lord Shiva in Nuwakot district. The highly revered temple, which is visited mostly for its religious beliefs, is a natural structure in the middle of big rocks. Thousands of visitors come to worship the temple all along the year but, the temple is crowded mainly during festivals like big Mela on the days of Dhanyapurnima (full moon day in Mangshir or Poush), Shivaratri, Teej, Balachaturdashi, Janaipurnima, etc. Many pilgrims come here and offer cow milk to God.
The Duspcheswor Mahadev temple is located on the banks of the Suryamati (Tadi) river. It is 60 km north of Kathmandu's Gangabu and 35 km east of Nuwakot's district headquarters of Bidur, Dupcheswor.
It takes 3 hours to reach there from Kathmandu in a private jeep. Likewise, it is a 15-20 mins walk from the Dupcheswor Mahadev bus station.
If you go by bikes with friends and family members i suggest going with dirt bike is good idea, cause the road is not perfectly maintained and in rainy season landslide may occur any time so come prepared and have fun with nature. Peace out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
