My recent stay at hotel makalu view was truly remarkable. With its newly upgraded facilities and tastefully prepared local delicious nepali khana coupled with an unwavering commitment to cleanliness, the experience exceeded my expectation leaving me eagerly anticipating my next visit.
I will definitely visit again.

I stayed in Hotel Makalu View whilst travelling Nepal, and had the most amazing experience. The hotel is situated in Hile, which is a beautiful town of East Nepal. The views here are incredible, and the hotel owners are so kind and helpful, you will feel so relaxed and comfortable here. The food is fantastic, with lots of traditional options such as Thali sets and momo’s. I really recommend this hotel to any travellers who want a safe and comfortable place to stay with incredible views. The rooms are really nice and are so clean, from my room I could see so far around Hile. There are many nice places to visit near Hile for exploring culture and also for trekking, and this is the perfect place to stay. The owners are happy to help and are very friendly, on arrival they made me a tongba, which is a traditional Nepali drink made from millet seeds, and throughout my stay they made sure I was well fed and comfortable. I will certainly return here next time I am travelling Nepal! Thank you so much to Hotel Makalu!

Great Nepali experience. The owner and his family are very welcoming and entertaining. The evening fire and Tongba was a great way to end the day. Good food as well. Rooms vary, look around and you’ll find an interesting one. We slept pretty well with great views from the terraces.

It is really so satisfying to stay and the service is really nice with hot and delicious meals.

We ordered local chicken and had it prepared the way we wanted. We chose soup first due to the cold weather. Taste of local chicken was so different and tasty....

Our vehicle was dirty when we traveled Taplejung to hile .we were relieved to discover that they also offer vechicle wash facilites .despite the cold weather , we enjoyed a comfortable night,s sleep at Hotel makalu view .. recommended..

It is situated 15 meters from madhyapahadi rajmarga and 20 meters from koshi rajmarga on the left side .if you ask anyone regarding hile tower.they can tell you.hotel is situated just at the base of it.the surroundings are peaceful offering a less crowded and noisy environment..

They have two buildings,main building and a new one, situated 25 meters apart. The summit of the new building,Makalu view ,offersa breathtaking panorama of five district and the surrounding areas.it is a chilly place,an additional layer of clothing is necessary.i throughly enjoyed the local delicacy,tungba sukuti....
