Pathibhara Temple, Tehrathum

Ghurbise is best view point of TMJ. You'll feel lucky to be there when you visit pathivara temple located on ghurbise with view of tall white walls of earth which are linked with heaven you'll vanish from you and travel around nature !

Half hour drive from basantapur Bazaar followed by half hour climb uphill. Beautiful temple with great views. No good hotels or toilets around. But view from the temple is worth walking all the stairs.

One of the branch of Pathivara goddess of Taplejung. Not only religiously important place but also to see some of the spectacular scenery, loss green forest, snow capped Himalayan range namely Kanchenjunga,makalu and Everest range. You can also see yellowish fertile paddy field during Autumn in South East part of terathum district. We can also see of one of the biggest river of Nepal called Arun, carving the deepest Valley of the world and following freely towards fertile plain of terai. It is also possible to hike from Basantpur Gufapokhari via tbe temple/tinjure. This protected area is home to one of the most beautiful events of spring,where more than 25 varieties of rhododendron flourish.

Pathibhara Mandir at Tinjure Milke Jaljale (TMJ) conservation area, is a beautiful place of Terathum and Sankhuwasabha. This temple is situated at 2900m from mean sea level. Almost 6 kilometer from Basantapur and 4 km from Tutedeurali. Capital of Rhododendron (National flower of Nepal)

Beautiful temple located at the tinjure danda.Can play with snow and observe snowfall during winter time. It's a cool and silent place with very less local people around.

The ambience of the temple is very peaceful.It is at the top of the hill.You can reach there by two ways,One of the way takes a hike of around 2 hours or more than that,the other way would take maximum 30 minutes.There is less crowd.Pathivara Mata carries a significant importance in the lives of every hindu and u can feel positive energy and blessed by beautiful nature after reaching there.

Its a religious place about 5-6 kms from d
Deurai. Also it has surrounding with picnic spots. View tower and batrooms are under construction. Nepal Telecome's tower nearby gives good network. Also you can view Gurans during Chaitra to Jestha month.

Very divine and beautiful place where one can get blessings from mata pathivara as well as enjoy beautiful scenary from the temple. Also one can get a chance to feel the snow here during the winters... At the when we visited unluckily there was no snow, it would have more beautiful.

Great place with great view. 15 min ride from highway or 30 min from basantapur. And hike up the hill for half an hour (max), you will not regret of the view. During winter you will also enjoy snow.

The ways is adventurous and covered with rhododendron forest with bloomed rhododendron flowers. Climbing up hill is really fun. At top the view is also so great to enjoy.

Great place to view Makalu and Kanchenjunga, you can also see Everest’s summit and north face (China).

Really beautiful place. Winter season is best to visit to play with snow. Rich in biological diversity also called as capital of rhododendron.

Located on the border of terthum and Sankhuwashava. Very good place to visit. You will enjoy the view of himalaya, all most all hilly district of state no 1. During spring this place will be covered by Nepali national flower Rodrodrendron and snow.

It is a famous religious place and a beautiful hill station. It is well known for different species of Rhododendron, till now about 28 species of Rhododendron have been reported. The place is around 6 km away from Deurali, a nearby town from the place. In the periphery, there is Nepal Television Broadcasting Center. I was told that Pathivara Mandir is situated in Sankhuwasabha district and NTV tower in Tehrathum district.

Great experience for me. We walk while two days to reach there.
