Views that will stay with me until the day I die.

I've been to my share of national parks and this is the most majestic place I have ever been.

Walking among the giants, crossing blue glacial rivers, awe inspiring swing bridges, beautiful forests!

I did the Everest Basecamp trek and loved walking through here.

Lots of accomodation and trail is very well kept.

Do be warned that October is a busy time of year to go, however the weather is ideal!

Sagarmatha National Park is a place like no other on Earth. It is a vast region of mountain, glacial valley, and culture. And as you approach the iconic ENC, one could say, it is being at the end of the earth. One can go no further north. The head of the Khumbu Glacier is an enormous cirque carved over multiple ice ages as India slide under Asia - right here - uplifting a few centimeters annually. The lowest pass northward is at 20,000 feet and is impassible for even most climbers. 7000 and 8000 meter peaks surround it, and the mile wide Khumbu glacier is but a minute reminder of the thousands of feet of ice that once flowed into India. To me, it feels like the Earth starts here and it ends here. Come walk the path of the glaciers and trek with the friendly and helpful Nepali people.

What a beautiful park! They now require guides which is great. It supports the local economy and you'll have a better experience!

Dont bring your drones to take video. Its the one question the nepalese military asks when you pass through. They will confiscate your drone.

I hiked the Everest Base Camp trek. Wonderful, amazing, and majestic.

Any trek in this park is likely to challenge you, but it is so worth it. A dream come true.

I recommend a guide service. I found a local one and I will definitely use them again. And do your research!

Unique of its kind. And surely the place to visit once in a lifetime

Sagarmatha National Park, located in northeastern Nepal, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to some of the world's highest peaks, including the iconic Mount Everest. Encompassing an area of 1,148 square kilometers, the park boasts breathtaking landscapes that range from deep valleys to towering mountain peaks, including Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Nuptse. The park is a haven for biodiversity, featuring rare and endangered species such as the elusive red panda and the Himalayan tahr. The Sagarmatha National Park houses some of the highest mountain peaks of the world. The park has some well defined rules and is trying its best to protect the environment. In our entire 12 days trek, we did not find a single piece of trash any where in the mountain. Kudos to the locals, trekkers, local bodies , NGO's and the Government for this achievement.

I will never be the same again, words are weak for what I experienced. Our guide, Lok (Three Jewels - Amber Tamang is principal) was a wonderful caring intelligent person who knows Nepal and it's history, had a lot of laughs whilst feeling safe and looked after well.

A place where every human should travel to at least once in their life time. It's a literal heaven on Earth but it demands a lot of respect, so don't go unprepared. Take good care of both her and yourself if you wanna survive and enjoy the trek.

There is no such thing as enough review regarding this place. A mythical place, heaven on earth, a scene from a fictional movie that one may or may not have watched. All of that and much more is Sagarmatha National Park. We must learn to appreciate places like this and their inhabitants.

You really have to be there to see God's creation first hand. While the mountains over picturesque scenery, natural erosions and landslides show you mother nature at work. The tea houses are very warm and palace-like and offer a good range of food.

Trekking through Sagarmatha National Park is one of the best experiences I've ever had. Around 14 days or so of amazing views, lovely people and super nice hospitality make it a must for anyone who ever visits Nepal. I cannot stress enough how powerful and immense the views are at this place, and whoever can, must go there!

I was lucky to be able to take my time and spend a whole month trekking around at the Sagarmatha National Park on my own, stay sometimes many days with the locals and definitely many days at the high points like Gokio and Gorak Shep.
I visited Gokyo Ri Peak, Renjo La Pass, Everest Basecamp, Kala Patthar Peak, Ama Dablam Basecamp and met many nice Sherpa people living there, and other trekkers from different countries.
It was in the winter time, so was not busy and the sky and even the night sky was stunnishing and really amazing! I recommend everyone to do this trekking!
