really nice staff, good breakfast and super located!
It's very close to the shopping streets in Thamel but yet also super quiet because it's not directly on the busy streets :)

I stayed here four times over three months of trekking. I felt very secure with my stay and with gear storage while I was trekking. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Depending upon availability (if arriving with only a day or two notice), one might not initially get favourable rooms. After being moved once, I was happy with the room. Relative to other locations in Thamel, it is great for being quiet - it is on a dead-end road. It is on the "edge" of the tourist area. I had the breakfast included plan. The few additional meals I had were satisfactory, but not price competitive with local restaurants.

Great hotel in a quiet cul-de-sac. Comfortable rooms with great beds and sofas. VERY GOOD BREAKFAST!!… included.

We used this hotel as our base while trekking,and left our spare luggage here(secure dry lockup)….. we will be back!….. oh, and the staff are the greatest!

We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was big and the breakfast was also really good!

Very nice hotel, with very nice, helping people around. Great location in Kathmandu because it is in quite street, meabe 200m from main street. Very delicious buffet breakfast and nice garden where we had meeting with friends. Worth to stay!

Great value for money. In a quiet cul-de-sac, there is peace. Good buffet breakfast included, clean good sized room with clean white sheets and towels, smiling accommodating staff all made it a very good stay for 6 days.

A nice place and the environment is good, staffs are are very good. In the room few amenities needs to inserts like body lotion and the comb.

Nice place to stay in the heart of the capital. just 5 mins walk from the croud of thamel & you will really get amazed by the surroundings. No noise of city vehicles & instead you'll hear the birds waking you up pleasantly in the morning. Somewhat you'll feel like taking the fresh air in that smoky city. 😊 Food is good & staffs are coordinative. Ya, building is somewhat classic & old. Good ambience. You'll love the space.

Quiet, clean and with beautiful rooftop spaces to relax. Staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. My stay included free pickup from airport, free breakfast and they even sorted out a trek for me. Excellent place to stay, fully recommended.

Hello from Canada! Visited this amazing country in 2014. No frills hotel, friendly staff, super accommodating. The meals from their restaurant is very good and fresh. Location is fantastic, walking distance from Thamel. You can set up private tours around Nepal with them as well!

I highly recommend this hotel. Nice, very helpful hotel staff. Very good conditions in relation to the price. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful area.

Great place near Thamel but away from the noise and traffic. We stayed here before and after our EBC trek. It was in a great location, just outside the craziness of Thamel but close enough to walk to easily. The rooms were the nicest we stayed in during our Nepal travels and priced a bit higher as well (we were glad for the relative luxury after our recent travels and especially after the trek). The AC worked well (although it wasn't really needed) the TV worked (after the hotel called in someone to fix it). Things were clean. It was relatively quiet. We ate at the restaurant once and it was not so great. The hotel helped arrange our plane tickets to Lukla (the beginning of the trail) and let us leave some stuff while we were on the trek. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Been there in 2014,,,,For Nepal tour.... It was a memorable experience ever... The stuffs were became a family to us and we all miss them till a long time... The hotel is really hygienic and rooms are well decorated,comfortable yet in affordable price.. We tried some Indian dishes in breakfast, they were tasty too..

Inexpensive by American standards. Clean. Friendly and accommodating staff. Calm in the middle of the chaos of Kathmandu. I will be happy to stay here again on my next visit.

I was first time in Nepal kathmandu and I booked this hotel online I have no idea about property, service,food so I just booked for one day only and after aday experience I just continue my booking for next 3 day also

I have just returned from Katmandu and we stayed at Blue Horizon.
Yes there was some renos going on but I still rate this accomadation very highly.
The staff are friendly,helpful and very respectful of you requirements.
The food was lovely and reasonably priced.
Our breaky was included but we still enjoyed our dinner there
Its very central and they have the capacity to organise any trips for you.
I recommend Hotel Blue Horizon and would stay there again in a heart beat.

Very nicely appointed and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. Lots of sofas and tables in common areas. Tasty breakfast!

Very good place to stay on affordable price with good rooms and clean bathrooms. There aren't any chance of cockroach and any weird insects. Nirmal dai, puspa dai , rupesh and all other staff are very helpful. Food is very tasty... definitely will recommend it they are newly renovated

Great experience of topical Nepali food with 100% vegetarian items....I feel great to be in this place....also the place have garden and comfortable environment to have all type of meeting. Like this place for all type of meetings....

Great service, clean rooms and nothing is a problem for them. :) very friendly staff! Always go extra mile! Garden just makes it even a better stay in busy Kathmandu city! Thanks for everything!
