Hotel Timila is an amazing place to stay at, it felt more like a home rather than a hotel as all of the staff made you feel very welcome. The ambience is great, amazing breakfast and comfortable rooms. You are also located close by to the main attractions. Thank you so much Hotel Timila and we will come back to stay again! We loved everything there:
The room with a lot of charm and plenty of nice touches (including eco friendly amenities), the little courtyard and the very efficient staff.

I had a great stay at Hotel Timila. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made my stay excellent!

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and I had great sleep on the bed.

The amenities in the room - fridge, electric kettle, tea, water, were all well appreciated. Breakfast was good, although it might have been nice to have some more local cuisine options available. The lattes were very much appreciated.

In terms of location, the Hotel is in the heart of Patan which makes it easy to access the sites and restaurants of the area. However, transportation outside the area is a bit more tricky as cars don't want to get to close total the hotel due to narrow streets and some local construction makes things even more complicated.

Staffs were very professional and always ready to help you out with anything. Clean and tidy room very comfortable. And their restaurant CAFE TIMILA serves one of the tastiest foods in lalitpur.
Highly recommended hotel

Goodness me, what a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, staff friendly and respectful, and the breakfast is good.
The hotel is with the old city and very close to Durbar Square.
We visited in April 2023 and had a meal at the restaurant - superb!
Off the back of that experience, we opted to stay at the hotel this time - July/ August 2023.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Such friendly staff and very safe hotel. Comfortable beds, great aircon, spotlessly clean and hot water. Immediate help with any problems/ questions by the front desk. Very quiet. Their restaurant has Very good options and the food was amazing. Service was top notch. Very good quality food - both local and European. Right next to Patan Durban Square for Newari temples, shopping and roof top cafes. Will return to this hotel without doubt. Highly recommend.

This hotel is really fantastic. The architecture, staff, and rooms are just awesome. Nice breakfast (take note, it took around 45 minutes to eat it!) The hotel is not appropriate for people with any kind of mobility issues, but that can be said of all of Kathmandu. The other thing to note is due to the narrow roads surrounding the hotel it will take far longer than you expect to get a taxi, to and from the hotel. Recommend asking the staff to help you

I could not speak more highly of Hotel Timila. I stayed in one of the serviced apartments for 6 months. In that time I can not think of one time when I had an issue. The hotel is a family run business and you really feel this when you stay there. It is incredibly clean, the beds are super comfortable and it is located in what I think is the nicest part of Patan. The restaurant/cafe serves good food/food/wine coffee. I know the hotel is now used by many travel companies catering for guests on trips and I think this is a pretty good indicator that the service is great. Of course I am completely biased but this really is a very good hotel and if you do stay I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

While living in Patan for work in 2022/2023, I stayed at Timila for almost 5 months with my partner and we absolutely loved it - we highly recommend to anyone!!! The studio apartment we had offered everything you could ever want: a comfortable bed, AC, a modern kitchen, high quality amenities, beautiful bathroom, water filter, a private balcony AND a beautiful view over old Patan and during the right time of year you can even see the Himalaya range! Truly gorgeous! The restaurant downstairs is one of the best in Patan, we had so many lunches and dinners there (Kathi Rolls and the traditional Thali Set were our favorites) in the cozy courtyard. The location is perfect, nestled in between temples and 2 minutes from Durbar Square, very charming and just a unique experience. The staff is extremely friendly and everyone was always so quick to help with anything anytime - thank you so so much! We miss this place and people a lot, and it will always be our first choice to stay at when back in Kathmandu/Patan. Until next time!

From start to finish, my entire stay here was incredible. The room was super nice, clean and comfortable. I was lucky to have a kitchen and living room too. The room was perfect and had filtered water in it as well. The amenities and personal small touches are really nice. The restaurant at the hotel is delicious and there are also several options nearby. The staff were so kind and helpful with everything. They arranged rides for me and seemed to never forget anything I requested. Somehow the service kept getting better. The location is good, less chaotic than other areas and a stone's throw from Patan Darbar Square. The hotel is also very eco friendly, which was much appreciated.

Honestly speaking this place is heavenly. I had taken the bamboo suite, the suite is aesthetically pleasing having a quite comfy sofa area with a TV, a study table, good sized bed and a walk in closet into the washroom area. The suite is very spacious and bright. Also, there was a attached balcony which was again huge and spacious.

The breakfast they served was quite good not disappointing at all. The hospitality is great.

(There’s a dog too named Bruno and trust me he is such a cute and lovable dog.)

All in all I think that this place is really warmly and pleasing. I would for sure love to stay in the bamboo suite again.

I would recommend this place to everyone.

I stayed at Timila for about 10 days. The owners and the staff go above and beyond to make one's stay comfortable and feel at home. The location is fantastic, a stone's throw from the Patan darbar, yet tucked away in a quiet street. The rooms are very comfortable, thoughtfully assembled and cover all basic necessities for a short as well as a long stay.
I had my morning coffee looking at the koi pond and it was such a soothing way to start a day! Highly recommend Timila, for the amenities, ambiance and especially for the people that make the service impeccable.
