Khangri Resort

One of the best atmosphere lodges along the trek. There's a "Sunny room" on the 1st floor, very warm during the day with amazing view. Great for hanging out reading and aclimatizing.

The tea House here is hot. Top notch, service is great! Rooms and bathrooms are very, very clean! But that's not what this review is about, this review is about Lopsang and his Island Peak guiding company.

I'm met Lopsang in Chukhung, looking to find someone to take me up Island Peak and I'm so glad I met him. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and had lots of experience up on the mountain. Most importantly, he was obsessed with safety. He arranged everything for two of us to go up Island Peak and connected us with a really good local guide (Dowa) who had been up Island Peak over 20 times and even been up Everest.

honestly, going up Island Peak was one of the coolest experiences of my life! I highly recommend going up Island Peak and doing so with Lopsang and Khangei resort!❤❤❤

Great place with amazingly warm and comfy sun room (if weather’s good) and decent rooms, food, service. Nice cafe with proper coffee next door too.

We spent two nights here. One before reaching Island Peak and an other after it. We adored the interior and the cleanliness of the guesthouse. The staff is very nice, food is the best. We recommend this place. 🥰🥾🌄🇳🇵

Great place. Beautiful location, great staff (say hi to Sky), good facilities. Cold this high up when the clouds roll in or the sun goes down, but warm dining room with good music. Not cheap, but reasonable given the elevation. Good place to rest a couple of days, acclimatise for the nearby pass, and do some laundry. WiFi expensive via Everest-Link only, no phone reception.

Great lodge. Climbed Island peak directly from here instead of BL. Very helpful host: he is everywhere, but the intent is to always be able to help (while in some other lodges the intent is to watch you)

Absolutely excellent accommodation at 4730 mtrs on the island peak trail.. The food and the ambiance is amazing apart from the fact that u can get wifi here at a very cheap rate... Not to forget astounding views of Mt Ama dablam and lhotse south face from here

Lovely place to stay on the trek to Mount Everest Base Camp and above. Very friendly staff. All basic facilities available.
