Beautiful Galeswar Mahadev Temple on the way to Muktinath along Kaligandaki River. The whole temple complex is situated on the top of a single stone which is almost half a hectare. One of the holiest temple on the bank of Kali Gandaki River.

According to Skandapuran, Jyotirlingeshwar Mahadev appeared at this place after Sati Devi's throat fell, and Galbarishi went to live in Galeshwardham due to penance. Jyotirlinga, Shaligram, Shankhachakra in Galeshwardham are not man-made but eternal eternal Harihar Swarap, so it cannot be limited to any period. It is eternal and eternal. The never-drying pond and tree in the center of this rock, situated on a single huge Chakrashila spread over an area of nine ropanis, have revealed its religious glory. According to the Srimad Bhagavata Purana, when Shri Mahadev was carrying Sati Devi's dead body on his way to the Himalayan Mountains by the banks of the Krishnagandaki River, it is mentioned in the written document that when Sati Devi fell down, Jyotilingeshwar Mahadev was born and remained as Shiva Shakti, so it was named Galeshwardham.
