This temple has great religious significance for Hindu people. It is a Shiva temple located beside the Kaligandaki river. The beautiful temple rests above a single rock covering a wide area. The place is very clean and well maintained. Local devotees often visit this temple when they get the chance. This place has a very tranquil and spiritual vibe to it. You will have a great time here.

Beautiful Galeswar Mahadev Temple on the way to Muktinath along Kaligandaki River. The whole temple complex is situated on the top of a single stone which is almost half a hectare. One of the holiest temple on the bank of Kali Gandaki River.

According to Skandapuran, Jyotirlingeshwar Mahadev appeared at this place after Sati Devi's throat fell, and Galbarishi went to live in Galeshwardham due to penance. Jyotirlinga, Shaligram, Shankhachakra in Galeshwardham are not man-made but eternal eternal Harihar Swarap, so it cannot be limited to any period. It is eternal and eternal. It is mentioned in the scriptures that King Bharata, the eldest son of Rishabh Dev, came to this temple and performed penance while searching for the world's most sacred pilgrimage site for salvation. Since the early days of creation, there are many famous Mahatmas like Pulastya Pulah Vashishtha, Galavarishi, Rajarshir Hugan, Kapilmuni, Galeshwar Baba, etc. in this area, there are many unknown ashrams and caves such as Pulhasram, Kapilshram, Galeshwarbaba Ashram, Siddhashram, Jadbharat Tapasthali etc.

This is a holy place worshipped for the Shiva specially. There are lots of worshippers on the day of Shivaratri. Situated in the bank of kaligandaki river. The environment is so peaceful with the sound of water in the bank. Famous in the whole dhaulagiri zone as well as whole Nepal.

This is such a holy place where the son of Brahma, Pulai Rishi in Satya Yuga; Ravana and Rajarshi Bharat, the son of Hrishavdeva in Treta Yuga had a penance amidst green forests, gardens, fresh wind pure water and wild roots and fruits. There is huge Shaligram at this place.

Galeshwor Dham located in Beni Municipality-9 of Myagdi is known as a supernatural power Dham. Galeshwardham, which is considered very important from religious, historical and mythological point of view, is located at the holy confluence of Rahunadi and Kaligandaki.

The never-drying pond and tree in the center of this rock, situated on a single huge Chakrashila spread over an area of nine ropanis, have revealed its religious glory. According to the Srimad Bhagavata Purana, when Shri Mahadev was carrying Sati Devi's dead body on his way to the Himalayan Mountains by the banks of the Krishnagandaki River, it is mentioned in the written document that when Sati Devi fell down, Jyotilingeshwar Mahadev was born and remained as Shiva Shakti, so it was named Galeshwardham.
