Eatalia Delicatessen

I went here two summers ago and i haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Every time I talk about my trip or reminded of it I always think back on the experience I had here. Truly felt like home.

Very nice and cosy lunchroom and delicatessen place focused on the Italian cuisine and products! Here you can actually have the best focaccia in The Hague and many options of very good pasta and risotto! Try the focaccia funghi and the risotto Tartufo! Also in this place you can find many specialty Italian products from very good wine, to pasta, olive oil, truffle oil, cheese guanciale e.t.c! The service is also inspired by the Italian philosophy and they are very hospitable and friendly! I often come here for take away focaccia but you can certainly enjoy your lunch in the place which is also very welcoming and warm! Many credits to Jordi and his team!

Really cozy place with an authentic and delicious menu. Very reasonable prices and great service. Pasta was really good. Focaccia different but still yummy. Fresh ingredients.

Food served at Eatalia is PERFECT! I’ve never been thinking about combination of lemon and prosciutto but it turned out to be DELICIOUS. Waitress was very helpful and kind and we’re surely coming back soon.

Having unexpected lunch for 3 persons, highly recommended for very good Italian cuisine & warm service.

So I went by a few weeks ago and I was looking to get something for my colleague's birthday. To my delight, they sold pasta sauce and cassata from Sicilly. Of course, these were recommendations from the very friendly and helpful owners. The cassata by the way was life-changing. I bought one for myself to try and developed a fondness for pistachio. Yums. The coffee was really good too. And my colleague was really quiet when he saw his present. I think my mini 'excursion' to Eatalia just made me realise that Italian food is not just about pasta and pizza because I saw really cute truffel risotto bags and a lot of special cheeses there too. You definitely have to make a trip there if you are in The Hague.:)

Delicious! Had Zucchini with Parmesan in tomato sauce with bread. It was a light and aromatic dinner. Nice service as well. Usually I don't write reviews but I saw some weird one star reviews here, which I can't believe are true. Thanks!

Food was delicious and the staff very friendly, also not expensive at all, prices range between 10-20€ for lunch

This is the place to have a perfect Italian coffee!!
I love their sandwiches and Jordy, the very friendly owner, can make a very tasty anti-pasti plate with Italian olives, cheese and cold meats. They also sell nice wines and other authentic products which are also nice to give as a present or enjoy it at home 👍🤗

We wandered in here on a recent trip to The Hague looking for a small bit nice bite. Eatalia turned out to be an absolutely delightful surprise! You know an Italian place is doing something right when the conversation overheard at the table near you is in Italian! I had the sardines with buffalo mozzarella, tomato and olives. It was fresh and tasty and lovely. And my partner was thrilled with his Parma focaccia. Eatalia was very comfortable with little bistro tables and comfy upholstered chairs and the wine was light and the perfect match for our dishes. A great stop in Den Hague. We can’t wait to go back.

Tremendously courteous owner. Panini or pastas can be chosen. In total, dishes and wines were so delicious. I definitely recommend the truffle pasta.

The food is great. Taste like a quality product. The people also very nice and accomodating. Plus its especially nice to sit by the tables which are by road with a cup of coffee.

Very friendly staff, excellent coffee and fine selection of Italian wine and food.
