't Smulhuis in Otterlo

First time here. Was not disappointed. Did not reserve a table ( which could have been a mistake as it was very busy)
Staff are very friendly and helpful and found a table for us..Menu very good, you can have the meal of the day, starters, main and dessert. I opted for the chicken soup and spare ribs, chips, and salad. Both were wonderful. Best spare rids I've had in years. Parking spaces at the restaurant. Is wheel chair and people with mobility disabilities friendly. Dogs are allowed. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Was nearly turned off by some of the comments on here and TripAdvisor. Glad we tried it. Very friendly staff. We are English visitors, there was an English menu and everyone spoke English. Good choice of food, clean and very pleasant surroundings at a great price. Sure it lacks ambiance, think typical Chinese restaurant. But if you want ambiance try the place a couple of doors up, at twice the price.

This place serves Indonesian, Chinese and local snacks, quickly and for good prices. You can take away and enjoy the seating area. Good and sufficient parking spaces (50+)
