Van der Valk Hotel Amersfoort-A1

Van der Valk hotel’s never disappoint me, great value for money and always clean and tidy, with professional staff. The restaurant serves a good menus to a high standard. I’ll always look to boo with these guys when staying in the area. The hotel shop is good for those small things, the kiosk is easy to use and acutely works well.

We just have a dinner, soup came warm almost cold. The steaks we ordered was very tasteless, the iberico just takes like normal pork, the beef steak was also a bit too tough. Service was average due to that many staff on duty,

The restuarant gastronom at the hotel was a huge let down, finished the main course before the sides arrived, waiters didn’t care and was more busy chatting with each other, despite being told it was missing several times, instead of getting hold of the kitchen as most people around the table was almost done eating. Eggs /bacon were stonecold for breakfast. It’s a shame the hotel itself looks nice.

Noelle Bos was the best. Charming and very helpful. We had a great meal at the Van der Valk Hotel!
The place is centrally located and so it makes it the ideal place to explore Amersfoort.

This hotel is located in a great location in Amersfoort. Your with in seconds on the highway and in minutes down town or in 15 minutes with public transport. The room looked awesome yet they had a fancy climate control what was not a AC. What almost resulted in a bed swimming pool. Sleeping with 23 degrees C is a no-go. Tip for the IT team. Check all the TV because ours had glitches.

The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and well-furnished with modern amenities. The bed was comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained

Nice Hotel and very good restaurant. The food is very good.
The service at the restaurant was really good. Our waiter Marco was very nice and helpful. Absolutely recommend!

Wanted to give a huge thank you to Jip de Jong, who was our waiter who went over and above to serve us, gave us information about where to go and local places in town to eat.
He also made a reservation for us in the hotel restaurant from the Skybar, and made sure we were taken care of. Great example of quality service. Thank you Jip.

The hotel entrance is big and very welcoming.

The comfort rooms are spacious. There’s a Nespresso coffeemaker with free coffee cups and a tea kettle with free tea bags. There's also a mini fridge.

On the desk. You’ll find two delicious Lindt chocolates. Yummy. That’s a true welcome!

The bathroom has a luxurious walk-in shower with a big rain-shower head. It has fluffy towels and even a wash cloth (I've never seen this at any other hotel).

Breakfast is very extensive with all kinds of freshly baked breads. You can cut it yourself. There are also delicious cups of (fruit) yogurt. If you like a nice omelet, the chef will prepare one to your own liking.

They also offer free parking.

If you’re a loyal Valk member, you'll get a voucher for a free (alcoholic) beverage upon check-in to be used in the restaurant, the coffee bar, or the hotel bar. That’s a nice perk. Besides, you'll earn Valk credit for your stay.

I definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the Amersfoort area. It's located right next to the A1 motorway.

Stayed at this hotel for a festival and it was lovely. The fitness center was great. Special shout-out to Lisa at the front desk! She was absolutely wonderful and her customer service was excellent. Thanks Lisa for all of your help :)

A few days in Amersfoort.
We flew in from New York, via a business day in London, to this unknown gem to us along the A1 in Amersfoort in order to have some R&R. Found the entire stay in a suite perfect, with an all-round top friendly staff and great food. Especially Lisa at the front desk went out of her way to make our welcome and stay excellent in all possible ways thinkable!!!

Had a great lunch here with some ex-colleagues. Nice location and the staff was very kind and professional.

Very beautiful hotel rooms and a tasty menu in the restaurant. The rooms are big and very clean, it offers free wifi and free parking which is awesome. Parking place is right next to the hotel and you don't have to walk too far to get there. Price is not the lowest, but for business travelers should it be ok. Would totally recommend it :)

Spacious parking with several spots for EV charging. Spacious restaurant with typical (good/decent) van der Valk menu en attentive staff. Mix of hotel guests and business travellers en meetings it seems

Great experience of staying there, the view is very great, rooms are so comfortable and clean, there hospitality is mind-blowing

Kinda up class restaurant drinking place. We came rather late and were able to be served with it seems a bit of a hurry up attitude. Food was good, but not exceptonally good Im afraid. Parking was free. Smokers as usual are banned to the outside smoking lounge.
