Van der Valk Hotel Maastricht

I loved every second in this cozy hotel. My stay here made my trip to the Andre Rieu concert even more special. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, I love the buffet food and the staff is lovely! I will definitely return to Maastricht and stay here again.

Location is good, but you have to take about a half hour to walk into the center of Maastricht. Rooms are very nice and clean and personnel is nice and helpful. The restaurant is good as well as the breakfast. And they have a nice and tastefully decorated bistro for drinks.

Nice place to stay with a wellness center that has a pool and multiple saunas. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Nice bar but limited selection. Clean rooms. I didn’t like that the toilet was completely separate and away from the sink. I also didn’t like the door on the toilet closet, not much privacy.

Enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is modern and spacious. Good facilities. Food excellent and the staff very helpful.

This hotel has lovely rooms, with great service and very friendly, helpful staff. It is a 30 minute walk from the old town of Maastricht but the number 7 bus (runs half hourly Mon-/Sat and hourly on a Sunday) takes 10 minutes and stops directly outside the hotel. The hotel has good access off the motorway too, if you are driving. We stayed as part of the Andre Rieu experience and the attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. The food and drink outside of the package at this hotel also represented very good value for money. We would definitely wish to stay at the Van der Valk when visiting Maastricht again and would recommend it to any discerning customer.

Good experience. Staff was nice, bed was comfy, parking was uncomplicated. The curtains in the room did not block the light (missing overlapping rails) and the breakfast buffet would have been nice to have English labels, but otherwise great

Nice hotel to stay while visiting Maastricht. Close enough for a nice walk and the hotel is very good and organized with customers. But parking on side and also for E cars

Great place to have dinner. We found a table and they were very helpful with our twin babies. The food was delicious and tasty.

A well situated Hotel, 25 minutes walk to the centre of Maastrich, all of the staff were polite ,attent well dressed and very helpful. Evening dinner was very good, but had to wait for the bill.

Very comfortable and clean hotel. The restaurant has a very varied menu and even when you stay more than one time you can still have the feeling that you ar enjoying the restaurant like the first time. Bedrooms are very well kept and smell good. Recommended!

They can organize gluten free bread for breakfast and have always gluten free cereal and sweets available. Very friendly and helpful staff who speaks great English. Hotel offers free access to sauna and pool to their guests. Parking is always available in front of hotel. Also free shuttle to city center is available.

Location was reasonable. I came for a conference in the MECC conference center which was reachable by foot. Other than that, this hotel is near other businesses, the university hospital and a train station.

Lots of parking spots (free parking), very clean and cozy rooms & resto, quiet area outside.
Rooms are great, and pretty big.

Lovely hotel...a 30 min walk to the main centre of Maastricht but not too bad. Lovely rooms, great food and drink, great staff and a pool and spa too !

Downside the pool is super cold, if you are traveling with kids...
We booked the hotel so I can swim with my baby and sadly was super cold for him and us. :(

Good hotel just outside Maastricht. Free parking and affordable clean rooms. Friendly staff. There is also a small swimming pool and sauna. We stayed here with 3 persons in one room for 140 euro/night.

I found the service to be really good. That includes how fast we got our food to the way they took care of our needs. The food was extraordinary. Had a great time and will definitely go back.
