Places like this is why I continue to fall in love with the Netherlands. This restaurant is cozily nestled on a lush green river embankment overlooking the water dividing Netherlands and Belgium. I definitely recommend outside dining to admire the view while enjoying the fresh food.

Excellent water view, might need to wait 5-10 minutes on weekend lunch to get seated. Great menu for lunch and dinner and friendly stuff. Highly recommended.

Eijsden is a cute little village, and this cafe is one of its highlights. On a bright sunny day it feels like total freedom at the very end of the country. And that's exactly where you are.

Amazing view on the Maas river from their huge terrace, right on the border of The Netherlands and Belgium.

Watching the sun set behind the hills on the other side is a treat in and of itself.

Food is delicious.
Service is excellent.
We had very tender deer meat.

Nice restaurant with good service and with a great view on the river maas. Their terrace has multiple levels which makes it possible to have beautiful views from multiple heights. I would highly recommend getting their 'bitterballen'. They are made by a local company and are honestly some of the best i have ever had.

The café is situated in a lovely little town/ neighborhood outside Maastricht city center.
Nice options for food, some local options and some "normal" ones.
Breakfast is supposed to be great and is served untill 11

This place has an amazing view! Since the moment I moved to Europe, I have been questioning why there are not more cafés and restaurants by rivers or canals so that we can enjoy the scenery. Well, this one is perfectly placed by a river.

Great food at a fantastic location! Lovely atmosphere, lighting was cozy and there's a balcony upstairs, a terrace out front and even a terrace at the waterfront. In summertime this is probably a perfect romantic place to have dinner! Menu is in both Dutch and French, the waitresses speak both but I noticed they usually come up to you in dialect, which is a bit annoying since they automatically assume you speak dialect. Food was excellent in a medium price range. They've recently added a roof terrace, with great views! I'd definitely recommend!
