Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn

We had 2 nights on our business trip. Absolutely beautifully designed and tidy rooms, a huge + delicious buffet and super nice staff! Highlight: the pool & gym on the 14th floor. Always my pleasure.

Nice with a simple Pool and sauna. Sauna would be even more enjoyable if it was a bit hotter. I was there for 5 weeks its always about 65° - 70°.`

Had lunch here on a Viking Cruise. So good food! Not sure if the had help from the ship, they handles a big crowd with style and excellent taste and quantity and variety. I would go back to stay there without hesitation. I just love smiling cooks and servers and staff!

I’ve been at the restaurant 3 times as a colleague was staying at this hotel. All three times food quality level was extremely high. Even the desserts are delicious. Staff is very fast and friendly and prices are absolutely reasonable. If you are close to this hotel give it absolutely a chance!

Lovely friendly staff and clean hotel. The restaurant is well worth a visit. We had a dog and were made to feel very welcome. The real bonus however were the lovely open spaces, lake and dykes at the rear of the hotel which were a very welcome surprise. Would visit the hotel and chain again 😀

Nice hotell big modern roomd with nice restaurant. Easy access by car.

We ended up here as our son desperately asked for a hotel with swimming pool.
The negative- it’s a tall characterless building at the side on the highway.
The positive- everything else was great. Comfortable rooms, super clean, nice swimming pool and really AMAZING breakfast! (Do not miss it!)

The rooms are spacious, with a tablet to order whatever you feel you need. Super comfortable bed. Great service from the staff. Wonderful facilities!!!!

The room was very very very clean. I asked for extra pillows (there is a pillow menu in the tablet of the room) and extra towels, also we order a minibar pack, the houseman was suuuuuuper nice!!!

You cannot get bored, there is a casino, wellness, super nice and fancy restaurant, cinema, lobby bar..... everything in.

The breakfast was fantastic!!! Every single option you can imagine.

If I would change something, maybe for the hotel to consider to build up a couple of extra elevators, that was a nightmare but worth the view from the 10th floor.
The swimming pool is small, i would have appreciate times for going in because of corona.... there were people the whole day there with the kids and no more than 2 families fit in there.

We will repeat for sure!! And i recommended it to all my friends. Loved it!

Nice hotel around Hoorn. Big variety of breakfast, also possibility to order fresh customised omelette over the counter. Gym and Spa is quite decent. Very nice surrounding to go for a run outside. Dinner served at the hotel contains 3 course menu to choose good quality food served.

Quality of room exceptional, with a bath easily big enough for two ! Slow checkin was the only real fault, with slow queues at peak times, other hotels checkin in half the time.

The hotel's experience was very nice. The room was spacious and clean. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable.
We had breakfast over there as well. It was delecious, the only note that I have is that they didn't have fresh fruits (the fruits they offered were a bit old). But overal the breakfast was super nice with many options

A modern hotel with friendly staff and a good restaurant. Our Comfort Room was really spacious and clean. The bathroom had a bath tub and a shower with a lot of space. We also had breakfast and dinner at this hotel and it was really superb.

The only downside of this hotel is, that it is located quite far from the Hoorn train station and therefore, I recommend getting a taxi from the station to reach the hotel. You may also walk, but is around 30-40 min walking distance.

Came her for a business dinner. Restaurant was nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff nothing was to much to ask. Dinner was delicious and well presented.

Friendly staff, cozy room and good quality utilities. Room was neat. Breakfast was nice, tasty and easy to choose from a wide range of fresh options.

A beautiful and still new hotel. Service and rooms are excellent. So are the bar, Breakfast and roomservice. You have a big view of the city Hoorn. The taxi can bring you there in a minute. Or you want a bike of you prefer to be more sportive.
We had a very plaatsen stay here!

Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Fabulous bathroom with huge bath. Handy coffee maker with kettle as well. Not many parking spaces. Staff friendly

Hotel is on the A7 not the greatest location but it's very nicely done inside. Staff are great, food is decent and it has a food bar. The rooms are a good size. One minor gripe the fitness room is small and poorly maintained. However overall a good experience.
