Barista Cafe Leiden

We loved the little candy cigarettes, so much my other half "left them bits". They were a little bit cold (the pancakes), but it was nice that the staff made us aware the food would be a little delayed due to a large party arriving. The coffee was so good we had two (each). This is a good honest review (according to my other half).

We had a delicious lunch here. It was very busy but we managed to get a table, and it was spacious and relaxed. The food was presented well and lovely, with a nice coffee. Definitely a cosy place to stop by for a nice bite or a coffee and cake

It's a wonderful experience, totally would come back again and again and again. I arrived late so it's already past breakfast time, but the chicken wrapped I ordered unexpectedly surprised me, the flavour hit right at the first bite. The matcha was great, not too sweet but not too much milk and the chocolate tart is a great combination between the sweetness of the tart and the light sour from the blueberry. The staffs were welcoming, they came around once in a while to check if everything's okay, the place is crowded (I mean, with what they serve, they deserve it) but not too noisy, everyone can have their own conversations and ones that come alone can still enjoy their privacy. 10 points!!!!

Great place to work and eat! Their pumpkin spiced latte is delicious. Laptop policy: monday to Thursday 9:30-12:00 and 15:00-17:00

Really cozy place to have a coffee and a study session. You are allowed to use your laptop throughout the morning. They have a great selection of coffees you can choose from and different things to eat. Kind staff and cozy and warm atmosphere inside, especially the attic!

Love this cozy cafe! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and welcomed us back the second time we went in for a coffee. Cute kids breakfasts served with a little steamer or pencil. Looks like it works be a great space to work for an hour or two as well. Nicely decorated, clean, and quiet.

Perfect place. Delicious food. The employees are very friendly. They receive all payment methods. In week days you can use to laptop, in weekend they prefer that not.

Incredible, all the local is so so sweet and comfortable, but the waiters are even more pleasent! Look to what I ate, it's so appetizing✨

Incredible cappuccino and croissant. It reminded me of the coffee back in homeland New Zealand. I will be coming back here often! Lovely atmosphere and staff also which is a plus.

A good variety of breakfast options and tasteful coffee combined with a nice atmosphere + very friendly service. Totally recommendable if you want to have breakfast in Leiden!

I had an amazing time at the Barista Cafe. The blue butterfly latte was so so tasty, I recommend everyone you try it! The nachos were pretty good too, especially the guacamole. Great service as well!

A very nice cafe with fabulous location. It is situated at the heart of Leiden, in a cozy street. The place itself has lots of tables and rooms and a back garden with very calming decorations. In the spring and summer, they put tables by the canal so you can enjoy your drink and food while watching people riding boats, walking by the street and biking. Personally, I am a fan of a good-quality flat white, which is exactly what can be found in this cafe. The quality of their coffee-products are above average. For a snack, I recommend the roasted chicken salad which is protein-rich and fresh.

Stopped by for a coffee and relaxed on the outdoor seating area, and had a quiet and peaceful time in the calm ambience they had.
