Absolutely outstanding food but the wait between each course is ridiculously long. A simple five-course meal took 5 hours with a 20-45 minute wait between courses and the restaurant wasn't even close to full.

I would gladly come back here for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service.... but good God.. how long can it possibly take!?!?

This was a new experience for me, and initially I was hesitant. I ordered a 6 course meal and was ready to be surprised by what arrived. That’s correct, you order without knowing what you are going to receive. They accommodate allergies and can adjust based upon that.

Once the bread arrived, I knew I was in for something special. Each course was wonderfully prepared, amazingly delicious, and perfectly explained by my very attentive server. The wines paired for the courses were perfect. I was beyond happy with everything at the restaurant.

They change the menu every 6 weeks based upon availability of ingredients. Too bad I live in LA so it will be a long time before I am able to visit again.

After a warm welcome from the chef the culinary adventure started. We took the 5 course "surprise" menu with wine pairing - both food and wine were generous and exceptional. Carefully crafted surprise menu served with attention in a relaxed atmosphere. We loved all courses we ordered and had matching wines accompany some of the courses.

it feels like if you are at a friend's house that serves you the best food :) you can really feel the passion they are creating their dishes with. tasted so good

I was never so motivated to give a 5 stars rate! The 6 dish surprise-menue was outstanding good and they take possible allergies into account. Together with the greets from the kitchen it became a perfect dinner for us. Check out the matching Wines for the dishes! Jasper and team did a really good job.

if you love and enjoy food this is the place to be. the dishes are truly surprising (and they only do surprise menu anyway), they seem to be prepared with great attention, creativity and.. sense of humor. the matching wines match very well :)

One of the best restaurants in the Netherlands. I visit with my colleague. IT was one of the best food I have ever ate. The quality of the food is high. The apparatizer was also good. It takes a bit to get the food and the price is high but you won't regret it.

The food was exquisite, the service was kind and really tried to make you feel at home and well informed about what you were going to eat. The atmosphere was busy but very nice because you could talk and not really stand out.

A hidden gem at Scheveningen. Excellent food and super service. Concept is simple: choose 4 or 6 courses with or without a wine arrangement. Each course and wine matches perfectly!

Simply perfect. Food was excellent and the chosen wines matched perfectly our dishes. A must try at least once in your life... We'd go more often if we'd live closer.

great tasting small tempting dishes. When i told Lamb is not my taste.... the chef prepared a dish with Livar porc. NOTE: parking only for 2 hours to when you don't smoke you have to go outside ; )

Wow! We called in by chance, asked whether their surprise menu could cover vegetarian food and we were looked after beautifully. Super place, excellent food. Highly recommended.
